I knew I wouldn't be the only person to note that point.
High prices, too fresh, shitty weed... But when all that starts to change, so do the talking points.

I've read a bunch of threads on riu that show people storing meds, and they're happy with the quality when they get to using it.

I never forgot anything, including people posting reviews of current products that look nothing like the ditch weed pics you guys post.
What is the "said" amount of time, because a simple search will show plenty of people storing for many months and posting positive results. What is your ideal "use by" date time frame?

Sure, it won't last forever, and if improperly stored will further reduce the quality, just like anything else.

Root balls are exempt from the regulations, they go into compost. But any stalk, leaf, or seeds must be stored in a waste vault for 72hrs before it can be destroyed. My plans have a storage vault and a smaller waste vault.

Explain this exemption.......

I routinely cure my buds for 4-6 months, cannabis only gets better over time.

Plenty of us use the herb fresh....with no cure....or green, some will say...

its been an eye opener regarding the vaults....and their security level.
I can also sort of fathom that the marihuana plant in the future will most likely be dissected and separated into its
components and then re-blended into mmj extract formula's that works for the specific ailment. That is how they
will manage to standardize it as medication.

Research grants like the one discussed in the other thread will help with standardized grows. Further research and grants will help define the properties and prove benifits form strains tested.

They will break it down and see exactly how it works and what compounds and levels are best for certain ailments.

Storage shouldn't be and issue unless the product quality is severely degraded, which could happen.

@gb123 didn't answer my question about best before dates, that would be a regulative restriction on sales. (Anti regulation)

The (science) dissection and freshness (best before) would both be part of a regulated system.
