I have an as-of-yet undetermined digestive problem. I'm pretty much an anorexic unless I smoke. If I eat, I am full after a couple bites of food. If I'm high, I can eat a meal, but it has to be spread out over an hour or so. And I usually throw up a couple hours later after eating while sober. Also throw up a few times a week in the AM. I'm not going to lie, I think there are probably much more appropriate medications, however this would be the most fun (not trying to upset anyone with a real ailment). Oh yeah, and I've lost about 35lbs in 7 months, from 185-190 to 150-155, so I am really not eating a lot of food. Just wondering if you think it would be worth it for me to schedule an appointment.

DISCLAIMER: I debated starting a new thread for this post, but decided not to due to the fact that the audience I am looking for is already here. However, I will create a new thread if requested, or PM me responses to preserve the thread.

hope you get it. are you sure your not diabetic or somthing thats a lot of weight to lose.
not diabetes, I've had labs and stuff to check. I think it might be Crohn's, it runs in my family. I was worried for a little bit that it might be cannabinoid hyperemesis, but I got suspicious when I took a bath and my cramps didn't go away. And then I knew when I quit for a few days, because the symptoms are supposed to subside immediately.

cannabinoid huperemesis
CHRONIC CANNABIS USE CAN CAUSE VOMITING AND COMPULSIVE BATHING

Get checked out RIGHT AWAY!!! Ask to see a specialist. Get a diagnosis and get your mm card. I have talked to a lot of people with crohns desease who has the card. Eevn if it isn't for the problem you have, I doubt you will have a problem.
:peace:It sounds serious and I hope you seek some treatment and get some comfort soon. I hate to hear when people are in pain.

God, you don't even know. I have Kaiser and first complained about this back in JULY at least. I've been seeing a GI guy since then, the problem is, the god damn wait to get a scope exam is a few months at least, scheduled for my third scope, second endo next week. I've lost enough weight now though that their bumping me to the top of the list. So hopefully I'll have a dx soon.

The whole thing was just weird though, I did not expect it to be like it was... As I was leaving with my recommendation papers the guy told me to feel free to go next door. I didn't know what he was talking about but I looked over and there was a door so I went in. It was like a mini dispensery, I couldn't believe it. They had two hot blonde chicks working it...one approved my papers, the other sold me the bud. And when I was leaving she said feel free to hang out and smoke lol, There was like 5 people there just sitting around smoking.
I'm calling BS on this story.

even if you dont have the records you should just be able to tell them where you went (what hospital/dr/pharmacies) and they can request the records. Im sure bringing what you have in will help your case, but they can definitely find the records through the hospital and they wont say what they are calling for. they'll just request records for your back condition they treated you for. pretty simple.

I believe everything except the part about the two hot blonde chicks.

The funny part is, that's the only part I believe. So many hot chicks working at clubs...if I owned a club I would employ the same - who wants to pay a bunch of sausages to stand around their small shop all day when they could pay for the eye candy instead...not to mention it's good for business.

I just do not believe that this doctor would tell him where to go to buy pot. This is a HUGE no-no for the doctors and I have never heard of any of them breaking this rule that can get them in deep shit.

they can tell you where dispenseries in your area are. at least we got an entire list of places in our area that will help get you your medication! or deliver it to you for a small fee.

They are NOT allowed to tell the patient how to obtain marijuana or how to get the supplies and/or grow it. It is a big deal. If your doctor did this he/she is baaaaaaaaaaaaad.
