Why "We" Will Never Prevail...

It's very simply actually...

The media, their corporate masters (whom our elected officials are beholden to), love nothing more than to watch "The Game" being carried out before their very eyes.

What game you ask? Why...The game where all the peasantry is kept "off balance" and polarized by what they're fed daily so that everyone is at each others' throats.

Reps vs. Dems, Libs vs. Cons...pick your team and saddle up friends! Let's play for them and their enjoyment! As long as we can't come together...they win.

That's why we all need to put the smaller issues aside and come together for ALL of us. US. Not USA, but US. Mankind, humankind, people, men, women, children.

I can understand the frustration some feel but I do not agree with the defeatist attitude. What did our forefathers face in the mid to late 18th century? Waging war with the most powerful nation on earth with little more than volunteers, a rag-tag army and little to no navy? America doesn't hold a monopoly on the "David vs Goliath" fight for freedom. Viet Nam and Afghanistan did quite well against the world's two major super powers.

Look at what Ron Paul has done. The other candidates are stealing his ideas to promote themselves. Even if he doesn't become the R candidate, he has helped to spread the idea of individual liberty, sound money, property rights, minding our own business and adhering to the Constitution. Do you think Perry would have made his comment about Bernanke if it had not been for Ron Paul? Or Bachmann saying to get rid of the Dept of Edumacation? Or anybody seriously talking about tax reform and smaller, more limited federal government? His ideas have changed the debate already. His ideas are winning. I've been trying to say this in every way possible but Dr Paul does not need to win the nomination to be considered a success, his ideas will last longer than he and all of us ever will. Four years ago, he stood alone against the tide, now there is Gary Johnson, too. Yeah I know he has not done much but as they say "Rome wasn't built in a day." Four years from now, how many Ron Pauls will be running?

Being the world's superpower should not be our nation's goal. We should only be concerned with keeping our own house in order and in keeping with the Constitution's message of protecting the individual and his liberty. Trade with all, entangling alliances with none. If China does become the new world super power, it will be because we made it happen.

I know it seems like a losing battle, the majority are sheeple and don't know what is going on and don't care. There are others who have been indoctrinated since birth to embrace the socialist ideals. No matter how wrong they might be, most people are not brave enough to examine their core beliefs objectively. They would rather stick their head in the ground, ignore the facts and live in blissful ignorance. But as history has shown, it doesn't take a majority or a superior force to win.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees.

"A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging their prejudices." William James
