Shit man you post alot, how about posting all those sentences in the same thread..

I'd have to say I agree with ya on that note, I use to be almost 300lb fat ass now thanks to my 2 year meth binge (JOKING, I live and eat healthy now) weigh 143lbs and yeah fat plp are a prob too, shit they should have to pay more since their care costs more.

Just like plp that smoke cigs, drink booze alot, ect.. All those shitty life stlyes should cost that person not the rest of us.

Im not a vegitirian that drives a hybrid either LOL, I eat meat every day and dirve a gass guzzling SUV (and love it other than 8-12MPG with 93oct SUCKS). But I have decent health, and I've never taken welfare or unemployment.:bigjoint:

How can it be free? You mean I won't even have to be taxed for it? The docs nurses and hospitals are all going pro bono? Awesome, Next I want free food, free cable tv, free house, free car, free gasoline, free sex. free college education to finish up several PHD's including Medical degree, dental degre, and a Masters in business. Then lets talk about free utilities, well hell were the most wealthy country ( Neg 100 trillion) why can't we all just have everything given to us for free. I don't wanna work for anything, gimme gimme gimme.
Boy you guys really don't get it do you? Shit I'm not going to sit here all night and agrue with you over the way Canada runs it's health care. Shit if you don't want health care then by all means when you get sick don't go to the hospital. Let everyone else go and you can stay at home and maybe even die. I don't know??? What do you want me to say here you just want to keep on saying stupid things like this ? Where do you think your money is going now your 10 billion a month on the war is much better spent on the guns then the health? Ppl like you are never going to be happy fine then don't try to bring everyone else down with you with your bull cause that is all it is. peace out Headband707:wall:

This whole post is one giant logical fallacy, you start off with ad hominum attacks, then you create a straw man, then more personal attacks, then another straw man followed by yet another attack. Basically your post has no merit whatsoever. If you cannot debate the subject matter it is probably best to just not post at all and let the more learned folks here argue your points for you.
I tried my best to make my post sound like an indignant spoiled child had written it, because half the time thats what you bleeding hearts sound like to me. I have health insurance, I see the doc when I am sick or injured, I pay my own way and do not expect everyone else to just pay for me. If the gubbermint gets involved with our health care there will be no competition and advances in medicine will stagnate, eventually it will fail, just like everything else the gubbermint gets its hands on.

This is wrong, because it has nothing to do with the actual care. This is an insurance plan and rules about not dumping patients.
Add into that a little administrative overhaul and you are done. This has nothing to do with the innovations of the health industry.

But you are right it will stagnate. Everything does! But the issue comes when in the future they try to change it because it is stagnating, and people get all up in arms again because the government is trying to change something that is not working (like now!), so it is forced to sit there in a pile of its own poo until people will support the change for the better.

I understand Now, I can Make a Logical Choice b/t paying an Expensive Premium, or Paying CAsh upfront, When I have the 5-10k extra cash to take care of Whatever ailment I may have.... That is Fair!! I have the Right to Choose b/t Life or Death... The Freedom of Choice, The American Way

The point of Being Fined is That I pay Monthly, or I don't Have Coverage. I shouldn't Wait for You to Decide when You will Get around to Getting My Money back to me, after you Have wasted Time/Money in Litigating the Means in Which you can Keep my Money...
It was a rhetorical question to begin with, and you don't get fined for having insurance.

You are basically telling me that you having a right to choose is bad, mandatory insurance is good, fines if you don't have insurance are ok, and that I don't support any kind of insurance reform.

And you got all that from me saying it's mandatory.

Why don't people understand they need to WORK for what they have? People are just going to get lazier and lazier and expect handouts. How is this concept so hard to understand? There are things that could be changed with health care reform, without a complete overhaul of the system. This plan would just be an expansion of Medicare and Medicaid. Both are broke. Increase competition, give tax credits and tax deductions, tort reform, and help those who are involved in serious accidents are illnesses. I'm all for helping somebody if they deserve it. Crap happens, people get injured, and are unable to work. For those who are contributing to society, lets help them out. But for those who didn't get an education and are unable to support themselves, whos fault is that? Their own. I'm not saying we shouldn't help them in serious accidents, but don't make the rest of the people pay for things they should provide for themselves. Having people who don't have healthcare, should be an even bigger incentive for people to work hard and get it. I don't have healthcare because I choose not to. I'm pretty young still, and am also pretty healthy. That doesn't mean I want someone else to pay for it. I am also pretty poor, I served in the Marine Corps, and am now trying to get earn my degree. I just know when I do become rich, it will be because I worked for it, I didn't take any handouts. I will be proud of what I accomplished knowing that I deserve it. Where is the pride when you live your whole life sucking off of others? You're not living, you're depending off others to survive. Kinda like a parasite.

You see this people? This guy has it figured out, OOOH RAH DEVIL DOG!! +rep for being a Marine and +rep for having your head screwed on correctly.

Ever notice that the people who did the most for this country ( Signed up to defend all of us and would take a bullet for our freedoms) seem to complain the least? Thats because they KNOW they are in charge of their own destiny. The Marine Corps teaches that a major part of discipline is self reliance. Self Reliance people, not suck the tit.
