You actually added cobs to the Hans panels lol that's not a Cob panel using monos but nice looking plants
even if he moded it still a panel with both. And i don't know if my deep reds help but the tempsare getting low and i grow to entertain myself so I'll do as i please just because everyone hopped on the efficiency band wagon doesn't mean some of us don't want to try something different and when the horticulture chip comes out that's less efficient then Cree what then?

Hey Do You Give Reach Arounds :hump:
He's on point with the empirical evidence. As an armchair engineer, I'm a big fan of empirical evidence. He's been steering a lot of people pretty well thus far, most of whom can show great results. That's 'empirical' evidence of the kind I can put my trust in.

I've seen a lot of your 'poasts', making big talk about poorly trained plants making fat single colas. They're pretty, but most of us are more interested in production and uniform quality.

You'll notice I've generally been admiring of your results. Try to have a little more of an open mind about what other people's idea of great growing look like.

Just to show you I mean well, let me finish with a few pics of bubblegum, hangin' with a two liter bottle of Pepper;

How many people have you helped with their lights? You are making yourself look like a hater. The reason I started this thread is to see where people stand on this topic and you even own a cob setup lol just some blurple junk you overpaid for so don't be pissed at me. Be mad at yourself for buying them.

Those pics above are of plants grown with 860W CDM lighting, with a reasonably similar spectrum output to the CXB3590 at 3500 Kelvin (5x 860W)/ 144 ft² = 30W/ft². Not included in the calculation is the hundred watts consumed by each of the five required magnetic ballasts, for a grand total of 4800W.

Next month I'll be installing 24 200W (4 x CXB3590) modules over the very same space with the same six plants. I can't wait to share the results, with sexy bud shots along the way!

I'm expecting some impressive results when going from 28-30% efficiency to 56%!

So much fluff...

Personally I'll just see reals as the guy that copied my setup and was too lazy to put on the reds.

We all would have found kingbrite regardless....just like we did every other part

your welcome for bringing 200w high voltage drivers into the game

Its all good though buddy. I only share after much thought knowing it will be for the greater good and help the largest amount of people. Knowing full well pukes will copy and take it as their own and try and build themselves up on someone else work.

Whats with the led weirdos.

Its just a light.

its so brite....its like heaven brite in here. its like heaven with optics. optics with real talk.

I'm glad this forum exists at all. Without it, I'd still be trying to figure a way out of the inefficiency box with DE lamps as my best option. I almost bought some of those and turned them vertical, but COB LED lighting is really the light source that fits my needs best. :bigjoint:

Not only did I learn that right here, but I've also met a great group of highly knowledgeable people who helped me design the ideal fixture for my specific needs. So, many thanks to everyone who's helped, most of you know who you are!

The rest of y'all can continue bickering now, if you must... after all, Someone has to complain about how the dates in paradise still need pitting! o_O

I own an Apogee sensor lol and I have the error correction so my numbers are right and I don't have to pm SupraSPL I can just call him lol. Do I detect some hate or jealousy from you. I can understand it because you don't have what I have.
you can call it hate or jelly i don't care i don't crave the attention from a community you feel so proudly putting down. I've been building my lights before you and I've built plenty with others and taught them things on the way,i have the resources of the community all the same as you i just don't like the superiority complex it would be different if you'd grew better or actually contributed but as of now and always your just that fool. Anyways what's your purpose for not liking mono you sure stood up for mars until you decided to follow the herd

I didn't say your LED panels sucked. You're getting good results and I said so.

Back to the empirical evidence thing; I'm going to run the same wattage in COBs in the same place as the wattage I'm running in CDM lamps that produced the buds on those pictures. I'll post those pics too, and we'll all be able to compare.
