What are you, the Robin Hood of weed or something? Let it go, man. If you're growing your own and have hook ups from "good caregivers" for $250 an oz, who gives a shit what someone else is doing. Grow it and give the shit away if it makes you feel better. And If that's the going rate, like you say, anyone asking for more will just be sitting on product anyway, right? I think AZCS is asking for grow rights because it's really the only realistic why they can operate like they do and have a chance in court. Personaliy, I wouldn't even stick my neck out publicly like they are at double those prices. Legal bills ain't cheap, not to mention store fronts. More power to em. You come off really abrasive, so i'm not surprised you're getting the reactions you are. People looking for fights will always find them.

I don't agree with you either... I say if you don't plan on growing or can't grow, then azcs's co-op is a good alternative... I would much rather buy it from the co-op then the drug dealers house I used to buy it from... just about everytime I was at the drug dealers house, 5-10 would show up to buy drugs... and they always had guns laying around and multiple pound bags for you to choose from... Scary everytime leaving the place thinking a cop will pull me over just to build info on the dealers... luckily it never happened... Atleast there is no worries of buying from the co-op...

On the other hand, if you're perfectly capable of growing yourself then thats obviously the route to go...

Find a fellow patient... dont sign away your right to grow, and DONT PAY 400 bux for an oz. that is so fucking stupid, if you go there and feel happy about your purchase, you have more money then sense. 400 dollars is only because they hire 15 people to sit online and chat and bullshit, they have to charge 400 to pay the employees far too much needless overhead. Fuck that, buy from a person that will use the money to help others, and pay the light bill to grow there own.

And if your weed dealer had guns and gangster shit liek that, you were buying from the wrong people. That is also teh SAME wrap bill says when asked why his prices are so high...."We keep people safe, we protect you from big scary drug dealers with guns" its a scare tactic.

im far from anyones drone in any army... I grow for myself and dont buy from anyone.. 1 post because i signed up to this site a few months ago and never used it.. I use thcfarmer i just stumbled on this post. I am just saying its easier to buy your buds from a store with variety then going to a drug dealer with 1 type. if you cant grow that is.
ive never been to the co-op and dont plan on it, because i am a grower
but i think people should be able to sell their excess for whatever people are willing to pay.

You are a little bit right. I believe going to a Compassion Club that is operating in a way that may not be legal IS NOT a good idea as you could put yourself at risk of your card as well as legal issues. I do believe there is unseen potential in the Caregiver Patient program that has evolved.

If EVERY Patient were to assing a Caregiver, the Caregivers would all become growers by default. What they can't do is becoming PROFITABLE ones unless they were to be illegal. WIN WIN.

This will flood the market with meds and the price will be driven down to $75-$100z very quickly. Which is where I would love to see it. As well as it being freely donated by Caregivers around the state to benefit the truly sick.

another thing to remember... is its not illegal to buy it, if you're a patient... its only illegal to sell it.. so going into a co-op would be safe in my book.. but again i rather just grow it.

i thought it was technically legal for a patient to "trade" or w/e you wanna call it to another card holding patient if and when you had harvested herb in excess of 2.5 oz's?

As long as nothing of value is exchanged. The only transfer of cash that is allowed right now is between a patient and caregiver to covers actual costs incurred.

As far as I know a Caregiver can not give meds to anyone unless it is their own patient. Including licensed patients. UNLESS the Caregiver is also a patient.

All I know is that I went to the Cardinals game yesterday and my buddys mom's boyfriend is a older man like late 50's and he does have chronic pain from a car wreck years ago he even has to wear one of those goofy orthopedic shoes with the thick ass sole. Anyways he's a pot head to and he told me he went to a compassion club to get a ounce and he paid 440 bucks. I was like "wow man thats shitty!" Even back when I would get my meds from a private dealer I never paid more than 400 bones.... Shitty to know that these compassion clubs are ripping the people off who voted too help pass this law.

Recently talked to the guy that supplies a couple of the compassion clubs, (yea, some don't even grow most of what they sell, that's not a dispensary at all!). The guy told me they buy lbs from him for $2500-$3000.

Take that for what it's worth.

I piss on the business men who charge anywhere near $400 an OZ. when there are no legal penalties for growing, $400 is outrageous! i understand the costs involved from seed/clone to the store, it's a snow job to say that $400 is reasonable. I'll bet it's a 50% markup at least! if not, they are terrible bidness people. just my 2 cents! :)

With a 1000 watt and a 5 x 5 space i could knock down an average of 23 oz every few months. it's just not that hard to grow a lot, and when you can sell it legally, it shouldn't be so expensive. i realize it's a sellers market though. Hopefully more of our brothers and sisters will fire up some halides and run these assholes out of bidness! compassionate? lol
