dude, if your gals are in veg. you wanna shut down ALL lights for 24-36 hours. THen commence 12/12 after that. It really helps jumpstart bloomers. And makes most of 'em sex within a week.

I don't get what you mean with "after 12/12 do i just keep light on". Yeah, you run em 12/12 typically for 8 weeks dependent on strain & chop 'em.

you got a timer, or are you the timer (manual plug in & unplug?)
Yup that pretty much nailed it ! If u don't know flower time u can tell when the hairs are usually 3/4 amber

seeds or pollen sacks? if they are seeds then there is no reason to worry..

Virtually ANY flou. with newer technology than a T-12 will help. But the technology for both T-8's, and T-12's are basically same principle as was used when they were created in the 1950's.

If you wanna bump up (and it's a serious bump), but check something similar to an 8 bulb T-5 unit like this: http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=50074

These guys out out 40K lumens. Yeah, 10k short of a 400 watt HPS. But here's the really cool thing. Since they are flows. There are little or no heat concerns. Therefore you could potentially lower the lamp (HO T-5's) to within a few inches of the top of the canopy (way closer than you could get w/ an HID), which results in potentially 80K lumens.

BUT.... you're gonna have to come up off a few hundred beans. & Replacement bulbs are'nt cheap. But ENTIRELY diff world compared to the old T-12's, and T-8's. High output T-5 technology just became practical in the 1990's. Whole diff. world.

No disrespect to your current setup or anything. But I would say the difference between T-12's, and T-8's is negligible, as far as increased output & efficiency. Go for the H-O T-5's:hump:

HELP A NOOB PLEASE/Have books, but need some answers please

Want a big fat cola bud hope I get a female out of these to not pollinate

This is my first plant that I have grown. I have before and after pics, healthy in the first I believe then appears to be dyeing in the second picture. The soil is 3/4 top soil and about 1/4 moo-nure. I also have been using miracle grow when I watered, now I only use distilled water to try to get it back on track. I also have 12 more seeds in soil in grow cells germinating, two of the 12 just show the white root on the soil, should I keep these in the dark untill the seedling stage starts or leave them under grow lux florescent to get them to the veg. stage. I plan to buy a HPS/MH setup for veg./flowering phase. Im a noob so any comments or ideas to save this plant would be appreciated. please view my pics and give me some grow ideas...

Is it bad to move potted plants from inside to outside??? should I let my new babies veg. outside ever??View attachment 936495View attachment 936496View attachment 936497View attachment 936498View attachment 936499

So im getting desperate, so i thought i would ask. I hope you can help from what Ive seen you look very knowledgeable. i have some big girls under a 1000 watt hps they are in the second week of flower the room temp has never gone over 80 and they are not burnt the light is far enough away. So i think the problem may be root rot. The top leafs on the plant are curling down and taking a claw like shape. They still look very healthy just claw like. Let me know what you think.

If I take an Auto AK47 pollen and put it on brand new little buds on a Barney's red dragon, what characteristics will the offspring exhibit? Would it be autoflowering?

They are in fox farm soil and getting fox farm feed on the fox farm schedule. THey just got feed week five of the cycle.
Well if your just using thier bloom nutes it should not be happening??? perplexing

at any rate I would flush and not feed em for a week (other than just water) and see if they perk up
