That's what you get for letting her out of the kitchen. Mittens knows what I'm talking about.

I'll tell you who is better off, the men and women who were doing multiple back to back deployments in Iraq. All that talk about you only giving a shit about your family, at least you get to see them.

lol wat. Do tell how Obama has fucked your student loans. I bet you failed so bad they kicked you off FAFSA.
actually i had a 3.0 gpa. and i never said it was obama that fucked me. it was actually the school that i was going to that originally fucked me. they changed the course curriculum as they set me up for the wrong classes i needed to take. 3000+ in student loans later i found out. went to deal with it. got stuck with the loans which i was fine with. but when i tried to go back to school at a different collage they denied me due to the fact i hadnt finished my bachelors at the previous school. so they wouldnt extend me anymore loans to transfer and continue where i left off. they say i need to pay the existing loan off before im granted new ones. when u r working a shit job that barely makes u enough money to cover rent and bills then its hard to pay off the loans. the fed loans just have shitty guide lines that screw anyone that doesnt have a well paying job. also they werent willing to work out a payment plan with me and wanted outrageous amounts of money in the payments they would allow.

Your credits wouldnt transfer? Was the first school a technical college?

Your federal loan repayment is also income sensitive. My sister just had her payments reduced due to a lower income.

i really would dig the hazard pay that came with it actually. buddy of mine is clearing 5000+ a month on his deployment and its all tax free. his wife doesnt even have to work. his family is doing 10x better than others in the area even with both parents working full time jobs. so yeah not seeing ur family for a while but knowing they will always be takin care of and have money for the shit they need is a nice thought.

it wasnt the credits that wouldnt transfer it was the ability to transfer the loans to a different school. they are making me pay them off before they are willing to issue me more loans. im paying them now but its tough. i know they are income sensitive but most of the people u talk to over the phone dont give a shit and most arent willing to give u that option and information. also even if they base it off ur income its still hard to pay unless that income has extra money free after bills and rent.

I never met many during my deployments who didn't miss home. The suicide rates disagree with the "nice thought" too.

military parents are assholes. Especially the ones in for a while. My uncle was in for 26 years. Huge asshole, he rents houses to military families in Tennessee. Man has bank, but he's a bit of a douche. My mom was in the Army for 3 years, glad she got out before it turned her into a cold asshole.

u ever think the suicide rates are the way they are becuz of the war itself. i dont know about u but im not going to kill myself becuz i miss home. u ever think maybe its becuz war has a very bad and dark side to it? makes people do things they wouldnt normally do in the real world. which has many effects on a persons mind and body. even the strong dont always come back the same mentally becuz of the shitty side to war.

If you meant to say conceive, that is so common. So many chicks want to marry a Joe so he can deploy and leave her pretending to care, spending his cash. That SGLI is like a lotto ticket too. Sounds insensitive to put it that way but it happens a lot. If said Joe tries to split, she gets his BAH. The majority of women love their husbands, but even the good wives are tempted by the way it is set up.

So many Craigslist BBW chicks looking for a joe to marry.

yeah most are assholes but u have to consider the hardened state of mind they need to do it for so many years. also even if they are an asshole by the end. most joined in the beginning to help their family or to have some stability in life even if it could possible cost them their lives.

What is your point? My point is, maybe if they weren't deployed so god damned much there wouldn't be 18 suicides a day.

I wasn't implying it is all because of homesickness, I meant to imply that your friend who likes being deployed is a rare case.
