I'm doing much better than I was 4 years ago.

Here's the thing Clayton. When I say I'm doing better it's because of MY actions, if I was doing worse wouldn't that also be on ME?
You can't take credit when things go well, and then point your finger at the evil govt when they go poorly.

You can't have it both ways, much as you want to blame the POTUS for every American failure you're not willing to give him
credit when they go well. Where's the conservative self responsibility? It seems to me that in your eyes if a person is doing well it's because of their actions and work, yet if a person is struggling that's the govt's fault. Do you see the hypocrisy here?

The economy will only improve when the Republicans take credit for it

I wish I could say the same, my business is down about 40% from 2007.
I'm glad some are doing well though, good for you!

What do you expect? You spend 24/7 on this forum bitching about Obama, I'm surprised you find time to wipe your own ass let alone make any serious cash.

Slightly more workers in the prime 25-55 year old age group had jobs in August. In fact, the unemployment rate for that key age group fell from 7.2% to 7.1%. And it fell for the right reason -- more people finding work. The unemployment rate also fell for those age 55 and over. "There is some modest improvement for 'grown ups,'" said Shierholz.

I would say worse but not nearly has bad as some people I know. I know many people who have lost their homes, jobs and businesses or they are making less in wages, so in that context, I'm better off than most.

Sure, there are still jobs out there, but the question is will those jobs pay enough for people to still earn a real living? If you were originally making say $20.00 an hour and have to settle for a lower paying job at $10.00 then you have a problem. Sure there are still jobs out there but many aren't paying enough money to make a living and support a family.

I'm guessing that it people's experiences are going to vary according to what part of the U.S. they live in. I hear parts of Tennessee are doing pretty well, at least compared to parts of Cali.

Arent the people who deride Obama the same people that want to do away with Unions, the minimum wage and the department of labor?

My time on here has nothing to do with my job progress, I could spend another 2 hours a day and it wouldn't make a bit of difference. Besides, what would your broke progressive ass know?

I don't know, you tell me. I'm not putting blame on Obama for the current situation obviously he isn't the cause of all this mess, this didn't all happen overnight, the recipe for the current disaster has been in the making for awhile. It was just a matter of time. Obama, Bush, Clinton, etc. are all just puppets strategically put in place as a distraction, IMO. The big question is, who's really running this country?

You can't take credit when things go well, and then point your finger at the evil govt when they go poorly. When government gets out of the way of the free market, I won't have to worry my friend.
My business relies on people who are doing well themselves, that's called having investment capital for you uninformed dolts.

You can't have it both ways, much as you want to blame the POTUS for every American failure you're not willing to give him
credit when they go well. Fuck dude, tell when it's went well under this POS president? My business did very good under the last term of Reagan, Clintons two terms and under both Bush's. Where's the conservative self responsibility? It seems to me that in your eyes if a person is doing well it's because of their actions and work, yet if a person is struggling that's the govt's fault. What I see is a typical progressive simpleton who has never owned a business in his life, kinda like your idol Obama!

Lol Clayton,

I sold a business earlier this year for a profit. I started another venture right after, in a matter if 6 months that business is profitable. Getting ready to pay my quarterly taxes.

Nice try jackass, keep punching a clock and allowing someone else to profit more from your work than you do.

No balls, no glory Clayton

General Motors is better off, and the UAW unions. Oh wait GM bondholders got fucked. I sure hope no one is stupid enough to buy any corporate bonds from GM anymore.

That will make it easier on GM anyway, no longer will they have to bother trying to get money to fund things as no one in their right mind would loan them any after what happened last time.

Every progressive on this forum is either doing better or knows of most others doing better!
All the stats proving this country is in a major struggle somehow eludes the ones on RIU. LOL
