When to switch from 600w to 1000w?

One week into bud mode, have had some heat issues. Leaving all other conditions aside, when would be the best time to go from 600w to 1000w during the last 6 weeks?

do you have a cool tube/hood on em ? made wonders for me and my 600W HPS made my Temp`s drop +5C

Yes, the cool tube has made it possible to manage at 600w. Just wanting to boost at some point, if possible. Thanks.
