When to start only water for these girls? (shameless first grow bud pics :P)

I use nutes and have a schedule of feed then water only and so on. I grow fruit and vegetables and use nutes for them and never look or taste weird. In my opinion you cannot flush nutes out of a plant, it's all stored within the plant all you do by flushing is starve the plant at its vital stage.
i believe weed hold nutes for 14 days ruffly, you may not taste it but its is in it.

GO look at the dried up goop that runs from the cuts on the base where you cut off branches after harvesting a heavy fed plant with no flushing. It looks like a sparkly thin toothpaste stain.
I dont feed heavy and generally try to stay clear of placers were growing is going on. Its not legal here

Will post a picture later. None of my weed has ever done it. But the weed my buddies grew here... Fuck that shit. I am not smoking that.

Oh NO!
They take up nutrients till you harvest!

The idea that flushing anything from a plant is false. You can't! The plant can not do that! Those weeks of bulking are so very important to be getting proper nutrition.
What do you grow for?
The best possible result?
Feed it till the last cpl of days and then water if you need to.

ANY P&K booster is stopped for the actual last 2 weeks before harvest.....
The only soil grows that I do are outdoors so it's hard to judge what the plant is doing re up take but indoors in my hydro setups i can monitor uptake pretty close and one indicator of its "done" is it basically stops drinking. So I'm confused when you say it is uptaking nutes till the end. In my experience (limited) the plant basically stops on its own and it's not the grower that manipulates this. Just for snickers I have stopped feeding a plant when finished (in flooded system) and the plant seems to go into a state of suspension, it will still grow but mostly foxtail to the extreme and yes turn a lighter shade but water levels stay pretty much constant, and the plant lives on. Although when I do try and limit fade on the outdoor girls by feeding, I will burn the hell out of them. The indoor plants don't fade but they just seem to stop the whole process of drinking and growing, at that point I cut em down, if all indicators line up. I will try a PK booster on my next run but will hit you up for info when that happens, thanks doc.

In my soil runs, they slow down by around 50% in uptake of liquids. This can be temporary or prolonged but, they still are feeding......The Blue Berry I have posted pics of lately. She started the slower uptake a cpl of days ago. Still very, very alive and has sometime to go yet....It's a patience game now....She's in SS so nothing I can change. Other then reduction by that 50% in in-going water....

Clear trich's still, with some slow change to cloudy. Time to watch her close.

How many mediums do you grow?

Actually thinking back 25 years ago when we ran blueberry we were feeding heavy till chop outdoors. It was a pig if I recall but prime when done. Never cured, machine trimmed and dried and bagged as fast possible, people lined up for it at 1500 a pop, 5 minimum lol. Sad we lost it but ran it for 5-6 years :).

Holds nutes for 14 days? I'm not sure I get what your saying? After 14 days there's nothing left? All the NPK plus micro nutes are no longer present?
yes sorry i suck...lol i just meant that as i am aware plants as in weed hold nutrients for 14 days after we feed so most of us flush water through our pots then water only for two weeks 14 day's i just don't see how you feed till you cut ?

I feed but taper down a bit, it's what I've always done and when I've stopped I've lost yield and I don't taste a difference that I've noticed but I don't feed a set amount, I feed what the plant takes in by watching my EC fluctuation weekly but I'm in hydro. My outdoor is living soil (composted stuff lol) so very rarely add anything unless they need a boost near the end then it tea and top dress
