When to make hash out of trimmings

So half dry is called zombie resin lol not dead but not live it'll still work remember first run of 120 is dabable and so is like all 73 micron. Look up how to use a strainer or micro plain your bubble or it won't dry properly and cure and be dabable. Agree on 5 bag you only need that the rest is rosin press besides 73 and first 120 so it doesn't matter really. And potency depends on the strain. It's dependent on contaminants and the plants themselves. Some have higher thc/terpene ratios and some the other way. Good bubble should be around 60 my highest was 68 at this year's fort Collins 710 cup lab tested.

I mainly have always let my trim dry for two reasons really ...my hash stays a better color no green and it seems it's easier to process for me personally when it's dried and put into the freezer before running through my bags .....second my harvests are quite large so I don't have time to just go rite into making hash with fresh trim .....I've got crazy amounts of trim rite now and pop corn ....like retarted amounts buckets of popcorn and final trim and lots of my first rough chop stuff ...trim out the ass ......there's a third reason I forgot ....I've been doing it the way I have so long it's what works ....quality is good no complaints from anyone ....well one complaint a lot lately from my patients ......and that complaint is I need to make more ....so this weekend I'm guna run through a bunch ...but I also give a lot of trim to an old buddy of mine he likes to make wax ....plus il never process all my trim there's no way .....hash is good though ...the bonus of being a Gardner ....il post pics after the weekend .....

Yeah I'll second that notion. I wish I had so much good trim that I had to give some away lol probably pull a gram of hash off my trimmings and popcorns lol

A buddy of mine who grows and uses all of his trimmings gets a ton too. Sandwhich baggies packed full of hash. Makes me sick lol

You'll get there one day ....careful what you wish for .....processing it is a bitch after about 10 runs lol ....that's why I have people over to have a get together ....make some hash and BBQ .....make them agitate my bags lol

Keep growing you'll get there ....don't give up do a good job and you'll be there .....careful what you wish for though .....making hash is like trimming ....it's only fun for so long before it turns into a bunch of work .....lol

I use 220 as a work bag/initial strain bag, then 120, then 73, then 45 and or 25. The 120 bag and the 73 bag are the best, the rest is for edibles. 73 is the greasier stuff and is great for hand pressing/rolling I just did some nice hash balls the other night from some 1st run and 2nd run 73 of black domina.

I will do up to 4 runs. Pretty much everything on 4th run is food grade.

That's why you get one of these lol modify by bypassing the electric pump and make it drain by gravity when I use it I put some 5 gallon buckets under her to lift her up 50 gallon washer I do normally 3-5000g when I do a wash. Full melt is life around here gotta compete with dispensaries and all other shit so gotta be best period. Not that expensive tho can prob find a 20g one for 100$IMG_20160928_213655124.jpg

If you dab when I do this run I'll make some videos on how to micro plane. Make your hash look like grains of sand dry on cardboard for 3 days or preferably in a wine cooler. Sell grams for 80 a g and no complaints at all

I just got a bubbe machine recently in a stupid good trade. I was using a drill and paint stirrer and getting really good results. I am anxious to try the washer out.

I knew a guy that used a regular washer as well. Everything in proportion!

Believe me it's way to go. I process a lot of hash if u wanna make the best bubble you gotta use fresh frozen as you loose terps due to drying process. Same concept of why live resin and live rosin as well as full melt are the top ones for flavor. I'll make a video and i guarantee if your people like what u do already they'll die for this shit. It's the true organic dab if you will. In Cali there are people who sell unique strains and so on of full melt bubble from 100$-300$ all depends on what u have. Unique terps are the name of the game and your lungs will thank you for smoking full melt over any bho lol

I have microplaned and screen/mesh pressed it. I heat and or hand press it now. I like the old school look. I have even planned to get a mold made with a logo embossed just so I can have my own hash bar. I have a hash colloection from pretty much everything I have grown.

You'll love the washer. First run do 10 minutes the rest 15. I like the pyramid bags as they are easy to keep an air bubble in. You want to keep half bag floating like a bouey. Helps make the best full melt not allow many contaminants

I admit to being pretty lazy about hash these days. I used to love my bubble hash. Now I trim all the fans as I harv and hang em. When they dry I trim on a tray and the trim goes into paper grocery bags and that trim gets turned daily to dry evenly.

I use my old bubble bags with dry ice and shake the hash out. It's fast as shit. I mainly use the hash to make delicious hard candies, sometimes I smoke it.

Yeah I am interested to see how the later runs come out. Invariably with the paint mixer the later stuff has more plant material. I would do 7 minutes total per run mimicking a washer and do abt 5-10 seconds on forward, then reverse.
