woa im a troll magnet. so much talking but no answers
Don't know any other way to put it other than you use it in the final weeks of flowering it just helps with a final blast of pk,makes the buds swell and gets them to become more compact ,great stuff

you missed the whole point, you can't judge peoples grows by gram per watt, Og's don't produce the same a bluedream, doesn't matter what nutrient you use.
gram per watt is very hard to get unless you are doing a load of plants under one light 20 plants under 1 600,you have to have been at it a good while to get results like a grm per watt

I aim for quality over quantity but i understand that sometimes growers go for amount over quality if its for retail ,the streets ,but even more so there is no reason ,why the bud should not be good both ways amount and the finished product, most is just under done that i see in deals.

They don't get that the bud if left a bit longer the final 2 week are the best for getting good product and in my view the most important.Min 9 week,no matter what the strain, its during weks 7/8/9 that the plants gain the weight so they are not really gaining anything, because if left it would be a far better weight over all,and far better quality,i see a lot of stuff that has only just started to crown.

big bud ,over drive, pk 13/14, all these will help the plant fatten and crown faster. But i just use pk 13/14 at week 6 of flowering for a week instead of just the one tank has rec,by canna. Another good tip is i use a auto pot set up but when i add my pk spikes i all ways pour it through the coco, has well has haveing it sent to the root base via the tank.

I was told to do this by a grower that has been doing this stuff since the 70''s and it defo makes a difference to the end result,

It's all snake oil! It's all crap that you don't need! It's all stupid! Grams per watt by snake oil. LMFAO!!!

Carbs do what for your plant? Vitamins do what? High P&K boosters do what?
Didn't you give them what they needed to start with?
More does not = bigger or better. You only see what you want to!

I dunno about overdrive. I used it and all it did was make all my buds foxtail and stunted the development of thricomes... I am very very not impressed with advanced nutrients

"Premium Liquid Flower Enhancer! Increases nutrient uptake! Increases cell expansion and replication for larger flowers! Increases creation of internal floral structures and compounds for increased aroma, taste, potency, and market value! Potential 9-23% gains in harvest weight and size during last trimester of growth!"

Wow!

"Ascorbic Acid - vitamin C
Magnesium Phosphate - Extra Mag.
Magnesium Sulfate - Epsom Salt
Potassium Nitrate - Extra KNO 3
Potassium Phosphate - Extra K

So basically what they're selling you is Vitamin C and extra P and K.
At that point and for 20 dollars a liter just buy vitamin C and keep feeding instead of flushing your plants the last two weeks...

what is that stuff derived from? anyone know?
Let's answer your question, Mike.

Overdrive contains.. potassium nitrate, potassium phosphate, magnesium phosphate, magnesium sulfate and ascorbic acid.

Ok, lets break it down a little further.
Potassium nitrate aka saltpeter is a source of macronutrients nitrogen and potassium.
Potassium phosphate.. a general term for potassium salt.
Magnesium phosphate.. a general term for magnesium salt.
Magnesium sulfate aka Epsom salts is an inorganic salt that contains magnesium and sulfur.

One of the best places to get quality nutrients is this place.. http://www.mbferts.com/. They don't use the cheapest nutrients available like AN or GH uses.
