What would cause the loss of color for my biggest plant?

i'm not sure what they do in the soil. i know they "nurture" aphids. in return the aphids allow them to gather their "honeydew". http://science.jrank.org/pages/462/Aphids-Ants-aphids.html
i've seen them doing this on my sunflowers in the past.
Damn, yeah i think im going to work on trying to get them out now. I read from the 'Cannabis Grow Bible' "
They are also a sign of Aphids - ants farm aphids!!!
Ants can be removed using Boric Acid, or any popular 'colony killer'
pesticide." So maybe i'll try Boric Acid...

Ok so i added about 2-3 tbsp fulls of MG Organic Choice Blood Meal evenly around the surface, then covered with more potting soil then watered heavily.

When should I start seeing results if this is what my problem is?

Still having problems. its been over a week now and i have added MG Blood Meal and Bone Meal. Not sure what my pH is. This specific plant is my best genetics that i have this season so i really want to keep this one going. It just started preflowering too. HELP!

Got any pics?

I would stop using the bone meal. bone meal is mainly P. I would just keep hitting heavy with the blood meal as a top dressing. You really need to be checking your PH when your using blood meal. Things can go very sour fast with blood meal and there is little chance of recovery if you over do it. Always have a good selection of buffers when your fucking with bloodmeal to correct a N deficiency. (baking soda, domolite, mabee even quick lime if your know what your doing and HAVE A METER). I usually pre-mix blood meal and some soil and let it cook for a few weeks. I get the PH very low like 4 or 5, and then I cut it with more soil till the PH is correct. blood and bone meal are rock solid choices for soil amendments. Guano would have been a better option cuz it doesn't throw your PH out of wack as much a blood meal in tea form or top dressing.

GET A METER!!! I dont use my meter much, I never really try to chase and battle and adjust ph. but it is a very usefull tool to get your ferts and soil mixes dialed in. Knowledge is power my friend.

Here is the most recent pic taken this afternoon. the second pic shows where the leaves are actually dying now and falling off. I have a small ant problem in the soil, but im not sure if just that is causing all this.. Any Advice on this one is much appreciated!!

the big N nitrogen or you have a nute lock somewhere or magni. def but its either those 2

You can also try some Extrme Serene, no nitrogen in there though, I sugest Amino aid for nitrogen. You can use them both at same time for great results.

foliar feed a 3 part with higher nitrogen content and some liquid karma. You should c color change over night. Use a wetting agent if you can. COCO or Wet Betty.

yep just that simple to make tea. Some people use sock or pantyhose as filters. No need to, but some do it. Teas do get funky in a few days. I would stick with topdressing like you have been doing. Its more personal preference.

Guano can easily be found at general gardening nurseries. great for teas or soil ammedments.

I just made a 3tbsp bloodmeal to 2ltrs of water tea mix. Gave it about a liters worth of the mix. Hopefully this will help and not be too much... I have another plant that is having a minor problem now as well, stems turning purple and the fan leaves are starting to sag. The color of the over all plant is a really really dark green. something doesn't look right pic should be coming soon on that one.

Very good. Your doing something right.
yeah man, im soo thankful too.. i was worried for a while. This is some really good genetics, i haven't been able to get my hands on until this year. The selective pruning looks like its paying off too. Thanks for the help, can't wait till around mid october hahaha... I love me some dark side of the moon!
