What to do, nutrient and topping?

Hey everyone.
I'm growing in coco
My plan was to lst and top it.
46watts CFL. Going to switch to 200W once it has more size on it.

When I first plucked the middle leaves out, the plant was also having nutrient problems/absorption?
Plant went spotted grey/brown, frail, out of life, etc . . .
Barely grew, possibly because pot is too big.

Next watering I diluted the nutrients a lot and it seems to have turned everything around.
Over night the plant just exploded in size.

Now the issue is, I don't think I can top it again because it's too far along? So it only has 1 split down the middle.
Now, it's falling over and having hard time to stay up.

What should I do? tie it up? down? do more topping?

How often are you watering? I noticed some of the veins are a little dark usually caused by over watering. But besides that I think you should go with LST I my self did LST.

I've watered 4 times in 4-5 weeks. Less than once a week, the pot is quite big though.

And I'm not sure if I'm suppose to top them again?, If I try to tie one side down the whole plant will rip out, or the stem will snap - from what it seems.

Just watch for over-watering with those amounts use the finger test to tell plant needs watering - after a while you will know when to water in relation to lighting and grow space. Plant and method of growing look great !!!!

I just watered it, and used broken metal coat hanger to hold it up, it was completely topped over, possibly because I let the coco get too dry? I'll let it latch back on for the next few days.

Should I bend the two main stems down? Allowing the middle to grow up? Also, if I do decide to top it again, which part of the plant would I remove?

Thanks!

Yeah that would be a good idea that way also when those two tops grow you can too those two and you could have 4 tops or colas later on depending on how many times you want to top it. So yes I would reccomend you holding them down.

I also notice your stem is purple usually could be from the strain or ph may be off or the room your using is can be cold. Do you know what ph yor water is? And what are your temps and humidity at if you have any way to measure those three.

Humidity I'd have to check but not very humid.
Room is 70+ and box is between 70-80.
I test PH and make it around 6-6.5.
Northern Lights strain.
It is odd that the first stem is green (had nutrient issues) and now the new stems are purple but have great growth. :P

Everything sounds just remember since it's coco it tends to dry quick and it's some what like hydro I use coco as well but I like to keep my ph between 5.8-6.0. Usually almost always 5.8 but as far as it sounds you sound golden. Should be a good grow for you

So you don't have nutrient yet then ? To feed your girl?
I have general hydroponics micro/veg nutrients, I unfortunately do not have the bloom bottle yet :/
It's also very hard to measure the nutrients because it says 1tsp per gallon, when often I'm doing 1/4-1/3 gallon so I have to mix a solution and dilute it a lot. :S

I use a little syringe to measure it at some point I was doing what you were too it's fine. You can buy these syringes like in the cooking ware section or even baby section I have one that measures 1-20 ml there smaller a one ofcourse. Using that you should be able to get you right measurements if you do the math. I can give you the measurements.
1 teaspoon: 5 ml
1 tablespoon: 15 ml
1 ounce: 30 ml

Definitely pick up some syringes like One suggested. That's what I used in the early stages when I wasn't feeding much. Also, make sure you start at a low dose (1/4 strength) and then gradually bump it up. You can top as much as you want, especially with an lst because you can manipulate the plant how you'd like. Also, how is the air flow in the box? A good breeze with help strengthen that stalk a lot. I'm a noob myself so I can't give too much advice, but these methods worked well for me! Good luck man
