you have to water shallow and just around the plant when theyre small like that..... if its too wet then the top dries out and the bottom stays soaked

Alright, I will do that for next watering.
I thought that coco needed the run through to get rid of salts or something.

Airflow I have two options, a 10'' oscillating fan on the outside of the box near the intake - provides some flow for the plant.

Or I can use a small 5'' fan that constantly blows air on the plant.

I think I've read you want oscillating for the leaves to flutter or something like that.

Also, I've moved the box into the basement (much colder temps) but will be making it a single 200W CFL light instead, which will provide more heat. Also might set exhaust to timer to make it interval because I don't think it needs to clear as much air as it is.

you really shouldnt be feeding it enough to really have to worry about salt build ups

And most coco coir mediums now a day are already ready to use so they have no salts. But I'll give you credit for finding that

So it looks like all is good and they like the new home! Gonna tie them down today and make an even canopy.

Alright so this is what it looks like. I'm sort of confused on what to pluck out to top it. I should have 4 places to do it, right? Thanks!IMG_0105.JPG.jpeg

You shoud just top the 4 potential area that could be topped. And just let it grow from there
I think I messed up, removed too much from each :/ Did the cut a week ago and growth has pretty much stopped, just new growth coming out sides. IMG_0113.JPGIMG_0114.JPG

It's okay don't worry the point of LST is to have most new growths grow out and let some what stuns the growth. Give a few more days she'll bounce right back and also the topping mostlikely help in stunting the growth but it's all good just let it recover and let it grow from there.

Ya but I believe I removed too much. I'm not really sure what the next step is?

It's okay your doing good. Now you just wait patiently and watch it grow just continue regular feedings until you decide when you would like to stop the vegging cycle
