What LEDs for 3x3 tent?

Hello RIU, first time poster and I've been reading around alot. I keep coming across different opinions and such on good brands of lights and so forth. Question is what would be a good LED light for a 3x3 tent. I want the best I can get without paying 1000 dollars right now. I've been looking into every form of LED and can't make up my mind. I need opinions... been looking at Timber Grow lights... I don't want to actually build my own at this point.... I would like a pre built light. I'm ultimately trying to stay under 600 dollars and get the best I can for a 3x3 tent. help?

Since you dont want to build your own, I would say go where you mentioned in your post, Timber is where its at.

definitely, the Vero is a newer, more efficient chip. Now I would always recommend building your own like I did(and im not very handy) because it is cheaper to do so. But if you are not going to then the Timber Vero line is the way to go right now.

I do intend on building my own at some point I want to try this now. Are COB lights just all around better then the "blurple" lights? I will be able to use a light from Timber throughout the whole plants life, right?

I would say COB's are definitely better than blurples. Like hands down. And yeah that timber can go from start to finish, you might want to dim it down or raise it up in veg, but that is something you will have to play with in your tent to best suit your needs.

Personally, I would like to see a CoB in the center of that Timber light for uniform canopy light. I am an Amare Tech fanboy. Here's my SE 250 in action in a 3 x 3

So the se250 gets 300w at the wall? I have to ask them about the discount... how long does that discount last?

No, but it's closer to 275. Not sure, but guessing you have to be ready to buy

i think timber was selling frames for thier lights?,,, some pre built units?

A SS315 watt lec is perfect for a 3x3 footprint.... I'm just about to buy my third 315 watt for $430.00 free shipping... I'm getting the 220v light... The 110v light uses a little more electricity because it needs to convert 110v to 220v... This light won't make any more heat than a 315 watt, $900 led would...

i would have recomended a bulb,, but i suppose he was after LED,,, the 315 cmh would rock his space

First timer her, I went with a 300w Timber kit in my 3x3. Half way though flower now with a single plant (link to journal in my sig) It has served me great thus far and would recommend them for sure. Very easy to assemble and you have lots of options for putting a frame together easy. Specifics on my whole setup in the thread, very happy for my first plant.

my living space is to small to hang a ballast somewhere safety. Leds are more appealing to me.

I would be getting whatever I decide to get by the end of the month. probably Friday. Just wanted to know when that deal will be over. cause I am considering that light in the 558 dollar ballpark.

How are the citi compared to cree and Vero. And if I were to get a light from Timber (They do have frames and that is what I'd get if I do go with them) what set do you think would be good for a full grow 3x3 footprint... like I want the best possible quality/yielding light I can get for 600 and under in a 3x3 tent.
