Ya that looks nice, go for the deluxe package so you have all the right light spectrums. $270 and it will pay for itself surely :)

Looks like a pretty good deal.
I wonder how it would compare to a 400w hps.
You can get them for about 130. usd

don't use cfl - use a 400watt "hortilux blue" metal halide for veg and flowering ($200 with digital balast from hidhut). if you want to use cfl for seedlings, 1 23watt daylight in a $6 walmart clamp reflector per seedling will grow them for about two weeks but then you will need the hortilux. The hortilux has the same light quality as the cfls but also the intensity/"penetration" you need to really grow past seedlings.

aye you can use the hps for veg and flower you know.
I personally would use 6500k cfls for veg and a 400 hps and the 6500 cfls for flower.

Maybe 200.00 usd for a good beginer setup.

Post a link to a 400 watt with the ballast. everyone keeps saying it's cheaper and then post dead links. The cool thing about that stealth cfl lamp is it has 3 recepticals built in and the cover with the lamps.
