What if you found out the Earth was FLAT? (Hypothetical)

What would you do if NASA came out and told everyone that the Earth was actually flat. Would this change any of your world views that aren't related to the earth being round? Could it change your view on religion?

I was thinking about writing a little story about a small group of people who found out the earth was flat and decided to go on an epic journey to find the edge of the world. I figured someone out there might have some interesting thoughts on this matter.

The earth is flat. from trying to prove the contrary, I am a fully pledged believer. Unfortunately knowing something so contradictory to mainstream belief and espousing said information will make people question your sanity. However it does need voicing and as many people as we can get to openly question our current understanding of our position the better. I have learned the basics and have moved on as I found trying to educate others frustrating. It is a lot of information and unless you are fully committed to researching it all I would (if I was you) just brush up on the bullet points of it. Remember "they" have the information system locked down.
If you are interested in research I would like to suggest to you to research the differences between Common law and statutory law, for a way to undo some of the damage that has been done by these "persons" in charge. You will find that the current commercial/admiralty/maritime laws are demonstrably linked to the bible you will also find that the Vatican are pulling the strings via The Crown (which is not the queen). I'm not sure how far down this rabbit hole you are so I will leave it but if you need any help on any of this hit me up. I might not get straight back to you as I'm currently undergoing some horrendous family shit but I will look out for your reply.

Itd defy physics. Flat is relative. You're implying that the universe in outer space is underneath this flat earth. Which could true true if this time period had microscopes that could travel infinitely smaller than the quantum realm. Itd be like saying that the information percieved is what accounts for molecular shape and to shrink the perciever would be to shrink the perception along with it. If that makes any sense, you're high.

The Earth could never be flat because gravity would prevent that from happening.

I still have a hard time believing our deep deep ancestors have not figured it out before "scientists". Or the fact that sunlight is stronger higher up, vision is longer higher up, light hours is lower higher up

Not so, satellite triangulation can be accomplished by communication towers and bounced around using satellite (meaning mobile as in movable) antenna/masts. Why, is there NO gps when flying in the Southern Hemisphere over large bodies of water?

The earth is not flat.
Laws of physics, thermodynamics, astral physics, etc, etc, etc.
if the earth was flat, explain why you can't see further... why the horizon is always curving away from you eyes...

As you can see by your own diagram light is shown to cover 50% of the earths surface; this is not what is observed.

You are incorrect in your assertions, the horizon does not curve away from your eyes at ANY demonstrably repeatable height, high altitude air ballon footage is testimony to this. Laws are only laws when given consent.
1. Who gave consent to these laws?
2. Can you verify the authenticity of these laws?
3. Do you understand these principle laws?

I feel like I am describing color to a blind person here..
What about the stars? They ummm sorta prove that the earth is round as well.

With respect you have not sufficiently answered my question.
We spin (at the equator) at 1000mph
Sound has a maximum speed of 800mph
How could sound be heard when travelling east to west?
Your other questions are too vague for me to answer if you would please specify I can attempt to answer your questions.

I would laugh just like I did when they announced their stance on global warming.
I think we can all agree that the science has proven the world is warming but I did not need NASA to tell me this. Any geologist can tell you that the Earth's ice caps have expanded and contracted several times, prior to the discovery of fossil fuels, due to the Earth warming and cooling. This is a natural occurrence.

With that said, the difference of opinions about our government, come in to play. I for one, do not trust our government and think this is just another excuse for a power grab (remember 9/11 and the patriot act?). Some people will spread their butt cheeks and let the government have their way without questioning our government. I consider these people, which lack acumen, to be no different from those German citizens who were propagandized, into killing millions of Jews. I am not saying the government has a secret agenda to kill Americans with new climate change legislation but I can guarantee this, our government has no interest in green technology because they have not figured out how to tax and control solar and wind energy. Think about it, these resources are not scarce.

I know most of the liberals on this forum will disagree with me on this and call me a conspirator but history has shown me that our government has no interest in or the ability to slow global warming. This is all about a power grab and the ability to tax and control the people.

The earth is spinning, YOU are not.
It in relation to where you ARE.

Aurora borealis happens because of the weakened magnetosphere at the top of he earth.
Why does the sun go down earlier in new York than it does in L.A.?

You are correct, it is indeed a natural occurrence, however the amount of greenhouse gasses and the sheer percentage of co2 is INCREASING, higher than ever recorded.
that's the concern, not the warming, warming by itself isn't that much of a concern, but when it is coupled with extreme amounts of greenhouse gasses.
Doesn't matter much really, the lack of clean water and food will kill of a lot of humans eventually.
Waaaay quicker than global warming... but they sorta do go hand-in-hand..
