What driver??

Really sorry guys I'm not being lazy but have spent the last couple of hours trying to figure out which drivers I need, one minute I think I have it then I feel a bit back to square one. And they're so expensive I can't afford .to choose the wrong one

Looking to build 8 4x4 panels with 12 COBs on each. Driving them at 50w as recommended but would like a little give and take, to maybe up the wattage a little at the end of flower. (however this isn't essential if the price will rocket, already proving to be very expensive). Need dimmable drivers, also would be great if you could also recommend a dimmer compatible with the driver.I just have no clue about electronics

p.s. I was looking at HLG-185H-C700B (click link) I think its 200w, does that mean I would need 6 per 12 cob panel??? Is there a better option? It doesn't help Jerry doesnt price his drivers. Anyway it would be much appreciated if anyone could help, and maybe even give me a ball park figure on what I'll be paying per driver.

Cheers :peace:

i have 12 also driving in groups of 4--hlg-240c-1750b puts u over 50w but you can dim at that point to drive em lower.

CLU048-1818 match CXB3590 and are cheaper (~26$). Vero 29 Gen 7 Type C are also cheaper (31$) and will outperform both.

Im just going by the 3590s because they seem standard here and looking to buy everything from kingbrite, confused enough as it is lol. Just want to buy the right drivers

They are standard because they were literally the only option for a >50% efficiency COB for around 2 years. Things have changed since then; they are still really good lights but if I see someone about to invest in old tech then I'm going to advise them about their current options.
