What does it mean to be organic?

Volcanic ash consists of fragments of pulverized rock, minerals and volcanic glass, created during volcanic eruptions and measuring less than 2 mm (0.079 inches) in diameter.[1] The term volcanic ash is also often loosely used to refer to all explosive eruption products (correctly referred to as tephra), including particles larger than 2mm. Volcanic ash is formed during explosive volcanic eruptions when dissolved gases in magma expand and escape violently into the atmosphere. The force of the escaping gas shatters the magma and propels it into the atmosphere where it solidifies into fragments of volcanic rock and glass. Ash is also produced when magma comes into contact with water during phreatomagmatic eruptions, causing the water to explosively flash to steam leading to shattering of magma. Once in the air, ash is transported by wind up to thousands of kilometers away.

The ash is just super heated rocks that get pulverized. It is volcanic rock dust.
Ok, I stand corrected, ash is the same as rock, keep on using it

Lava, when cooled, becomes volcanic rock of varying composition. Pumice (high sulfur ashen lava residue that cools in a way allowing for air to be released from within it causing the holes), Azomite (high silica), Obsidian (Silica-free volcanic glass), etc.

They actually have Nature's Care insecticidal soap listed with instructions, so it is acceptable. Impressive. I actually got shit on over at StonerHaven because they were trying to tell me my shit is full of chemicals, and MG is the Devil, and more SNCA. Like, my first post was in their nutrient section, and I started out "I know I'm going to get shit on for this.." That was my only thread, and they flamed the hell out of me and locked my thread.

The funny thing is, I was told they were more chill than here, which is definitely not the case. I refuse to use their site anymore. Their one mod even chewed me out because he said I had a "chip on my shoulder" because I stood by my nutes. How're you going to lock my very first post for defending my position after acting like an asshole? Sorry, I'll stick with RIU.

Ouch....that sucks, root aphids are an issue but if you get some predatory nematodes those aphids will be gone in a week , I have had to deal with them several times.
Hi, I'm running my first complete no till. I have found root aphids!! Can I use azamax? then reinoculate with compost teas then use the predatory nematodes? I already killed the worms because I let the soil dry out because I thought I had fungus gnats. My plants are already turning yellow and I have many flyers so it is an infestation. Also should I through this soil away after harvest? Or can I compost it and heat it up to kill the pests? Thanks for your help.
