Read dickhole . I said coal all along. I wasn't trying to hide anything. Admit it.
I am fully aware you said coal the whole time... And i am also fully aware that there are many alternative sources of power in the USA, which was your country of choice for this point, meaning that your notion of an EV being more damaging to the environment an utterly flawed statement.

Hey, flying in the USA is so slow because prop aircraft can only travel at X kilometres per hours!

Do the math. Look up how much Carbon footprint a KWH is for a coal burning plant and what it takes to manufacture a heavy amperage battery. Considering the lifespan of the battery. It evens out in about 70,000 miles worth of gas carbon emissions. Hate to break it to you. The problem with lithium batteries is economics.

The problem is not with the battery but how you make it.

I'm a bad troll yet I have 5 now on me and counting. UB eat your heart out
And again, no. You seem too stupid to realise that you have not trolled anyone into a debate, you're too stupid to achieve that, you;ve got 5 people with time on their hands happy to waste it pointing out how stupid you are :) I've mentioned this before, but you clearly can't even understand this simple a concept.

I've read your contributions on other threads. You're in no way a troll. You are just clueless.

You accused me of nit picking my argument as if I was being deceitful . Admit it Batteries are not ready yet. You have to take economics into consideration. And I also stand by my point that these greenies can not think ahead and never can consider the way the real world works. Dud the convo was between me and a Brit. Damn. go away

The argument i responded to was your opinion that EV's are more harmful to the environment based on a dumb assumption that all power in the USA comes form coal fired plants..

And i don't think you're being deceitful, i think you're stupid. which you have gone and proven time after time in seemingly every post you make.

So come on then. Coal power. You brought it up as the sole reasoning for your argument. Why do you refuse to accept the presence of alternative power sources? I couldn't care less about greenies, or batteries. Your point was carbon footprints.

He's a Brit too, English to be precise.

And as for greenies making cars, Germany has managed to close nearly all of it's nuclear power plants in favour of solar power and intends to close them all for good.
(Germany make Mercedes, Audi and Porsche among others by the way)

Seriously, what the fuck does the USA know about making cars, the Corvette still has leaf springs for fucks sake!
Japan is nuclear and they make probably more than anybody, including the electric Nissan Leaf.

Your logic is flawwed.

Again.....

No you fucking didn't!
I watched the address live, it's a fact.

The technology for electric cars is there.
It's been around since the 1880's, the Tesla Roadster is electric!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_car#Currently_available_electric_cars

My local taxi firm has 5 hybrids.
The Obama thing was e-sarcasm

They (lithium batteries)defeat the purpose. At least here in Merica. Fact: Batteries create more carbon waste manufacturing via coal burning electricity then just burning gallons from a regular car.
You have a taxi firm?

It was the same greenies who protested Nuke power, now they want it
