Yes indeed!
I love Jacks.... it is all I use.
Years ago I tried the expensive "Marijuana specific" type ferts...
IMO Jacks works better and is much less money.:bigjoint:
I have a DWC setup, will Jack's Classic work in hydro?

I had to throw in my 2 cents here. I have been using the Bio Canna Line (Bio-Flores, Bio-Vega, Bio-Boost) and I have to say its been working out very well. In flowering I supplement it with 2 TBSP of Fox Farms Big Bloom, and so far the buds are looking amazing.

Yes ... if you are in soil, forget all the fancy stuff. Here's some great ferts for you:

For vegging use: Peter's "Jack's Classic" 20-20-20.

For flowering use: Peter's "Jack's Classic Blossom Booster 10-30-20.

Here's where to order: http://www.jacksclassic.com/

Use these at only 1/4 strength throughout your grow and you will have beautiful plants producing great buds.

Great post! :)

We have something in common my friend..

Peters/Jacks IS the best soil fert available.

And the Lucas Method(GH nutes), is superior over any hydro nute.

Ive tried em all... Everything but AN and i wouldnt give Fat Mike a penny because of his pushy marketing, and his over inflated prices.

I have studied, and experimented with the best, and these ferts will make your plants "BLOW UP" for minimal dollar.

Its too bad alot of us had to learn the hard way, and wasted alot of money for minimal results.

Organics, you can have it. I will never pay for "shit" That will only clog up my airstones and give me undesireable yields.

Conclusion: Jacks Professional for soil, and GH lucas method for hydro... its all you need for maximum health and yields.

Plain and simple... on to the next chapter.

Took me 10 years to figure it out, and Iam 100% convinced.

Iam currently using the lucas method with GH micro and Bloom.

And my Plants are BEAUTIFUL!!!

For the next run, I will show you folks what Jacks Professional will do to a soil plant, so please come over to my thread and get blown away with the results.

Have a nice day! :)

Use this for veg:
Botanicare Nutrients:

  1. 126ML Cal-Mag Plus
  2. 180ML Liquid Karma
  3. 540ML Pure Bend Pro Vegetative Formula
  4. 450ml Sweet

Use this for flower:

Botanicare Nutrients:

  1. 126ML Cal-Mag Plus
  2. 180ML Liquid Karma
  3. 540ML Pure Bend Pro flower Formula
  4. 450ml Sweet
1 week before harvest, flush for 24 hours with Clearex and then use 450ml of Sweet only for the rest of the flush.

These formulas will give the best tasting buds you could ever imagine! Organic is the only way to go for taste...
But not for yield :(

I did great for years using this or that while growing in soil. I had a rude awakening trying the same thing in hydro. Much more finicky beast, that is. I don't want to get into a whole soil vs. hydro thing, but I only grow in hydroponics now because the difference in growth speed and the fine control I get from it is worth it to me.

Just like AN is worth it to me. I want to grow like an assembly line, where each grow goes exactly the same as the last, no surprises, no variables, just consistent ideal development every time. My experience has taught me that cutting corners sacrificies reliability.

I don't want to gamble with quality or yield, so I stick with the best I can get.

Would Jacks work in a hempy bucket? We used Peters back in the 80's in soil. But we also would soak polymers in a bucket of of premixed peters water, and mix in the soil on guerrilla grows

I'm not giving advise here just sharing my experiences. I've tried the fancy stuff and the not so fancy, if your on a budget Jacks Classic Blossom Booster 10-30-20 is good, I've had good results with it. Along the same lines as Jack's is Miracle Grow Bloom Booster 20-30-20. I've use both thru entire grows. With Fox Farm liquid fert's I seemed to burn a lot of plants. So I stopped using them. The Dry Fox Farm stuff worked better for me and I still use it. I started using a higher Phosphate nute like Jacks through the whole grow awhile back, one of the guru's on here made that suggestion in the learning section, I started doing it with great results. Now my favorite is Neptunes Harvest fish emulsion fertilizer at 2-3-1, I use it for entire grow, except for Fox Farm solubles toward the end, Beasty Blooz and Cha Ching, both boost the Phosphate in the the last month. Just thought this may help out some nubies struggling. As it did me.

I grow with AN also. I get beautiful results because I always use a light feeding schedule. forget what the bottle says. go on the website put a light feeding schedule to medium max and I guarantee you grow some nice dank or else you're an idiot and dont know what you're doing. If you fail with AN you shouldnt be growing for real. I really on AN as a rookie to grow nice buds. I'm sure the lucas formula would work too but I aint tryna learn all that. I print my feeding schedule follow the amounts and have get some good results. I've been growing for 4 years I tried floranova in a dwc that was hell. I didnt even wanna clean it. I dumped it out and switch it to an ebb and flow system. And floranova doesnt grow nice buds like AN those.. BC Bloom from technaflora is not bad. and the canna stuff works great too. Any other nutrient made to grow canabis will work just fine also. TO ANY NEWBIE OUT THERE THAT WANTS TO GROW NICE LOOKING BUDS THAT WILL IMPRESS THERE FRIENDS AND MAKE THEM LOOK LIKE THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! YOU NEED SOME SENSI BLOOM & SENSI GROW! B-52 AND VOODOO JUICE FOR YOUR VEG WITH SENSI GROW AND BIG BUD , BUD CANDY AND OVERDRIVE FOR FLOWER. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LOVE WHAT YOU GROW. JUST FOLLOW THE RECIPE IN THE NUTRIENTS CALCULATOR
AND ALWAYS USE HALF STRENGHT THE FIRST TIME ON YOUR PLANTS THEN USE 75% STRENGHT AND IF THEY DONT BURN USE THE REGULAR HOBBYIST SCHEDULE. Advanced Nutrients is still the most expensive nutrients to buy so if you odnt have 300$ to spend on nutrients you should really look into canna gear or gh. but canna in coco would be the best alternative. Other then that if your a rookie and your beginning to grow. do yourself a favor buy some AN nutrients.

Can anyone who has posted on this thread think of any other plant that has so many nutrients and additives to pick from to use?

Now I'm no expert by any means but I have a few grows under my belt and most of what is offered for our hobby is overkill and overpriced in my humble opinion. I have tried quite a few things and am still trying different 'formulas' so to speak. The one thing I have settled upon is Jack's Classic blossom booster for flowering. NPK 10-30-20. Why people think they need super high doses of P during flowering is beyond me? It's like taking vitamins with super high this or that, the only thing your body is going to do is use what it can and piss the rest out, same thing with high levels of P except you might cause a lock-out of other things with too much P.

I use MG in veg and Jacks classic in bloom. Here is a little T5 scrog at 5 weeks using those.

PS: spent $10 2 grows ago on my nutes and still have enough for at least 5 more grows. That is a far cry from the $25 per bottle stuff many people reccomend.
