Bunnings sell most of what you need for good plants. Just dont buy all of them at once. they sketch out with people buying hydro gear.So buy some of outdoor plants at the same time.
You think they care if you buy hydro gear?

What are they going to do?
Report you to the police?
Really, I don't hink they care less.

Thanks I'm in a little town in New South Wales called mudgee.
It is in potting soil but the shit that's $4 a bag of 30 litres the cheepist shit I could get actually. I got it from woolworths because we don't have a nursery the closest thing is the garden room at big w and our bunnings store has a pretty decent range but nothing any good really. I was thinking mixing perlite with the soil when I transplant and by then I'll be using the thrive at least if I can't find better shit
Hey bud,

Mate, Is Mudgee really that remote or a "town" even.

It's like 3 and half hours from Sydney.

I'm actually going to be heading to Mudgee in a few weeks for some wine tasting.
For the wife, more than me.
I'd rather be smoking it up.
Hahahah

if you can find perlite use that with coco, coco bricks are cheap you can use them by themselves too. just buy nutes
I'm with Stealthstyle,
You should definitely just buy coco and some perlite. Bunnings should have both.

The soil I used was pretty good with my cucumbers there was always fruit and I've had strawberrys in it for 3 years and those 4 plants always have strawberries on em and I had tomatoes that put the old couple next door to shame lmao and I've had a girl outside In this soil that went pretty good

BTW I'm running my lights 20/4 turn off at 12 mid day and on at 4pm
My new seedling is bigger again this afternoon going pretty well only nutes used was a soaking in some piss week sea weed stuff and water for 20 hours then sat in paper towel sprayed with the sea weed stuff for 8 hours then it was germinated put into soil sprayed with water and popped up the next day only water ever since I'll keep the water up until it has a couple of nodes then I'll start with a small amount of something good

I'm baked right now also goodnight

Mudgee is a town it is a shit hole the only thing we have is wine and well wine makes me sick from a sniff

I was born here and the only wine I'll drink is west coast. It's fuckin good and I'm old enough to know better but young enough to do it again anyway
Lol

Looks like the wood was starving your seedlings before they had a chance to grow. Rotting wood causes nutrient lockout and that "soil"kinda just looks like playground bark lol. Don't worry I'm learning this lesson the hard way right now as I used some soil with wood in it to bulk up my higher quality stuff and now I'm suffering all kinds of deficiencies. Learn something new every time I grow but it's definitely getting old

Send a new recruit to write down your plate number on your car, followed by weeks undercovers down the road of your house saying things like "what if he is actually only growing blueberries". been there before im not making this shit up. Australia is a nanny state where sleeping in the back of your car on a surf trip gets the cops called. If your buying 300 litres of coco at once in one shop you are asking for trouble. cops sometimes wait outside hydro stores too and write down numbers.Ive apparently been growing since 1996 and am friends with a number of cops. This shit happens.

Hey buddy,

A healthy dose of paranoia is good for all of us on here.

Should be careful at all times.

But the likely good of having "undercovers" down the road because you bought some gear from the hydro shop is unlikely.

Not impossible, just unlikely.

But at gunning, I'd say allot more improbable.

But I'm on your team about being cautious for sure.

Well that was a straight edge nerdy town i lived in. I also was a poor ass bum with a reputaion for powders. where i live now everyone smokes andthe problem is more meth which is destroying the town. People around here are cool about one or two plants. i just wouldnt go overboard like i did with that vertical system i posted. too much worry and risk.
Iactually dont grow weed after that scare and a few like ir such as helicopters followng me around the city and the things people said about me in that town. all for growing blueberries and poyote. Not into that any more now and lifes more relaxing.
Was going to parties 3 nights a week with no sleep, looks bad to the observers.
Eventually car searched a few times, one time with coco and a ballast in the back.

Can we see your drainage holes?
How quickly does that damaged plant drink water? How much water when watered? Pot size?
A clear pic of front and back of soil bag? Awful lotta bark which can actually hog N
Do you own cal-mag?

Dude this may sound harsh, but i'm trying to help ditch this seedling ,nothing will be gained from carrying on other than wasting money on electric and nutrients, get a other seed and start again,

We all start some where so don't feel like you are the only grower to have ever had a bad start with a seedling,i look more towards getting a better soil
