10 oz? Hot damn. That's impressive. I'm not sure if you've already stated earlier in the thread, and if so, I'm sorry. But, do you keep your mothers under 24 hour light or 18? I have two 4 foot T5's set up on about a foot and a half high shelf that my mothers are under. They seem to like it alright, but they are growing pretty damn slow. I'm using soilless fox farms / light warrior mix though. Just waiting for them to get bigger so I can take some clones and give em ample time to veg. I dunno, any suggestions?
i keep moms and veg at 24/0. it just works to my advantage that way, as i'm usually battling cold temps.

i just swapped out my two 4' t12 fixtures for a 400w hps to amp up production a little. i starve my moms so slips root faster, but feeding them once a month at full strength helps keep them vigorous.

I live in alaska as well, so im probably only 20 miles away from that great smoke... dayum im jealous too, last i heard MTF didnt exist anymore... now im a believer... AK has some of the best homegrown i have seen, over the last few years there has been a big decline though
and i don't get that....

i wonder why?

ive never heard that starving plants helps cuttings root faster.....ive heard that a good feeding of a heavy phosperous food is good to help them root?

oh yeah gregNak. go check out this thread if your diggin the genes.

shes a pimp man. gotta give her the props she deserves....

does the 24/0 light really help make up the lost growth because of cold temps? because right now im not flowering anything in my room, and the hps makes up for an additional 10 degrees of heat in my room that my plants are now not getting.....so i think things are slowing WAY down because of this (meaning my temps may have not been warm enough in the first place @ 75 degrees. The "Viet" would prob do better in higher temps but its all i got right now.)

I think i may be serious about trying to scrape up enough cash to add a 400 watt mh to my room to go along with the 400 watt hps i use for flowering. Already working on adding another 4-6 hundred watts of flowering hps.

your fav strain may be dg right now but im hoping that it will be this wetdream soon....:hump:
so i have a question...those "w.d" seedlings under the hps or what. ive got a plant that is 2 weeks old and about 1 inch off soil like those......(cept this one just added 3 new leaf sets in the past 2 days)

p=roots yes. but, n will cause slips to grow before rooting, delaying roots. so, i choose to make them seek food as well as water, and it seems to cut a few days off rooting time.

24 hr lighting keeps me around 60f. with the hps i'm up to 62f lol. 24 hours results in 24 hours of 62f temps. lights off means temps in the 40's, which they beanlings won't tolerate (rot).

in the summer, my temps are higher, and things grow much faster. cool temps do help to stunt the bonsai moms ;)
