Water when the plant needs it. Get a mositure meter. That is what helps me know when to water or not water.

Easier on the plant to under water. A few droopy leaves is nothing compared to root rot.

First timer.. IT also depends on how old your plant is.. During the seedling stage of a plant.. about 1-7 days after germiantion, a plant may need a little bit of water every 1-3 days.. becuase it does not have a very deep root structure, so it needs more frequent waterings

after 7 days of solid growth your plant should have developed a GOOD root system and will only need a thorough watering every 5-10 days.. depending on your room temperature and container size..


youn ever want your soil to be soggy and muddy.. except for a few hours after heavy watering..
