Quit Checking Your pH.You Have No Buffers In R/O Water So pH Will Not Stablize.I Dont Brother Checking My pH Untill The 3rd Week Of Veg.Plus Your Running Hydroton And You Will Always Have To Adjust Your pH.Since I Switched To The Silica Rocks My pH Is Better Behaved

Never did the ICE , but i did grow PPP from nirvana, and they seemed to have good beans Also i just bought my second round of PPP a few weeks ago. i can say nirvana is a good company to deal with, just cannot speak specifically on that strain.....

hey man cool thanks for the reply. I never tried any nirvana beans but wanted to have a crack at the ice for awhile nowNever did the ICE , but i did grow PPP from nirvana, and they seemed to have good beans

Hey Farmers!
Day 35 since germ with my PE. She seems quite happy and recovered from her toppings and taking well to the LST. Laid down the screen last night 8" above the farm and even strapped down she is about to touch it. Was going to give her 24 of darkness and flip her Sat but my in-laws are making a surprise visit tomorrow for 10 days, and well...surprise!!!
They are nice people but very straight-laced and even after 7 years of marriage to their daughter are clueless of my love of herb. A testament to both my camouflage and, well, their blinders. Sigh. They are also very curious about my new home of course. I am pretty sure I can keep them out of the attic but it is going to make training the girl to her screen daily while keeping them unaware a covert exercise of Mission Impossible-like dimensions.
So my other option, I figure, is to delay flipping for 10 days and raise the screen higher to compensate. But, I run the risk of the grow extending into late May and the heat will definitely be on where I live by then and no amount of insulation or the monster exhaust fan I have is going to keep temps down below 90. Not to mention her possible height. I have the extension for the Gorilla tent to get it to 9' I believe.
So other than telling them to go take a hike and to call first next time, any suggestions on which solution to attempt?
Hitmen, food poisoning or firm shoves down the stairs also not options.
Nor is scrapping the grow. Not happening. No way.
Otherwise she cruising at 900 ppms, ph is stable and not a bit of problem with the grow itself. In fact, she is looking like my most successful plant in 3 years of this wonderful hobby.

been pacing around weighing pros and cons and keep coming back to thinking I can't beat the heat so it will have to be the sneak.
I've been doing an attic grow since I started and I have attempted extending into late spring and early summer before and they were all failures. I got a harvest but am quite aware yield and potency suffered from the heat.
This wouldn't be such a big deal but when I lived in the Bay Area and Pacific NorthWest, finding herb was easier than going to 7-11. Work forced me to move to the Deep South, couldn't say no to the size of the paycheck, but where I am cannabis is hard to find, of questionable quality and the people I have had to go through beyond shady. It is why I started growing in the first place.
If the in-laws found out I doubt they could remain quiet and it is close to a hanging offense where I am to grow. I don't sell, there is no one to share with that I trust (every person in 30 years of smoking has been shocked to find out I smoke, it is how low key I am)
so my operation is quite below anyone's radar. The only way I am getting busted is by someone opening their mouth.
So when I say I have to be stealthy, it is no joke. But if I don't finish this grow I am effectively out till the next harvest which would be Christmas (shudder).
Anyhow. Time to pull out the rubber-soled shoes, black clothing and night vision. 3 am visits are the only way I see to pull this off.
