Water, the big elephant in the room..

I used the esc treatment from inda gro a few batches back. It puts a polymer around the roots to prevent drying out. I did not like the results that I got using it. I don't know if there is any root damage. The same pots of soil which have not been used in over 6 months are still full of roots.
