Water movement in plants

Is this so far true:
1The dryer it gets, the lower the rh, (unless otherwise controlled) the less the plants tranpires. The stomata restrict their openings to save water. (Not being necessarily distressed only relative to their stage of growth.)

2.Which in turn means the less the roots must take up to compensate. As if temps if temps where (74°f - 77°f 76?) rh at 60-65%? Or may be fine slightly lower.

3. Warmer air holds a higher % rh so by inducing higher temps more stomata open? Does that mean the roots take in more water causing higher transpiration rates? Does it mean stomata assigned with grabbing co2, work at the same rate of the stomata which burn through the water taken by roots? Because stomata have got release it why?

4.Because inside the leaf tissue the pressure is still higher even with induced elevated humidity levels? That's still a lower pressure than what's inside the leaf tissue I am to assume?

I care how my plants can be grown better and OPs question is a good one and he will now learn how VPD works and it’s effect on growing. If indoors it’s a great tool, and one of many that creates efficiencies. Your way works to though lol.

Yup your short stay here will be interesting lol.

Depends on the water source of your plant. If water source is not a problem then the stomata will continue to transpire until equilibrium is reached with rh outside. Bear in mind also that rh is only one factor that effect the opening and closing of stomata. If the water source is a problem, the plant will detect that there's not enough water replenished during transpiration and will restrict and even close the stomata to conserve water.

The only thing that restrict the roots from taking up water is available water. If there is sufficient water then plant will continue to transpire even at night. The pressure inside the plant is always greater than that outside of the plant, so plants will always move water, unless of course if you submerge the plant in water. It is more of a question of how strong is the osmotic pressure.

The answer to this is a pretty much complex process but in a simple view...anytime the stomata is open, its taking in CO2 thus the process of photosynthesis starts.

Yes, unless as I have mentioned if you submerged the plant in water.

Yes Cisco kid that's what I've been doing for the past umpteen years. I am not complaining because I can't grow and I do not need to brag, I simply want more out of what I put in to it. I am not a noob just looking to know and really try and FEEL what's going on inside the plant for obvious reasons. I love plants, all kinds of em. Now I am going to think about all this shit again and try and sum it up correctly and put it in my own words in another post and see if people think it makes sense. I want a GOOD grasp on VPD to take advantage of all the work I put into having total control of my growing environment. It is at THAT point I think it will really sink in. Thanks for the input. I was pretty high when I made the initial posting therefore it came across jumbled. .

Over 41 years I have been growing weed and veges

no sooner do you get a grasp on his thing 'we' do

then the line(football net?) is moved again..again and again

so you bend and bend to accomadate

then you look over your shoulder and see your friends who don't bend

just retire

...bummer!
