appreciate you brother, yeah it looks like I have found a keeper out of the Sour Kush's for sure, ending week 5 and absolutely no hermie issues at all, the smell of the resin is pure lemon pledge, super sweet lemon scent=AMAZING! I have heard great things and bad things. I think its one of those things where as long as you order a few beans and know what to look for you can find a killer mom. The OG's look and smell great too. Pretty heavy stank already, super glad I added the carbon filter. I will update with pics probably tomorrow or the day after. The leaves on the SK are so shiny and healthy, really an amazing plant, doesn't appear to be a great yielder but I have learned nothing that great ever does. I am really fired up.

The OG 18 is really putting on an amazing show of resin! It's pretty sick, I have seen some Og 18 grows where people reported almost no trich's on the leaves, well thats not this mommy! This thing is crazy, I almost thought the leaves were deformed or off color or something but upon closer examination it was the light shining off the resins, giving it like a shimmery weird look with the light on it. Its amazing! As for the sour kush it almost looks exactly like the Reserva Privade picture for Sour diesel, it has those rounded leaves with the edges rolled up with resin. The smell on the OG is more of a tart lemony skanky candy thing, where as the Sour kush is just that Sour Lemons.

Oh...and that's the other interest in this thread...my #18s are probably on deck...I had a freebie Warlock, but my inexperience killed it long ago. I noticed in an earlier post you commented on how fast these suckers rooted. After my SKs cracked, I put them in rw and about 36 hours after they popped out the taproot was shooting out the other side. I really only have some Jack Herers to compare it to, but that was pretty damn fast compared to the 4-7 days it took for those roots to show.

Yeah they were super vigorous as seed plants, unfortunately the keeper SK pheno is fairly hard to root as clones though. I noticed they didn't have as high of a percentage of survival rate as my others but I thought maybe I have not really cut enough to fully evaluate but I had given a buddy a cutting of it and he noticed the same thing. Some will root ok and some will take a minute to root. Speaking of cloning I recently switched to RW cubes from Rapid rooters and at first they were ok but after a few cut rounds I notice the rockwool literally takes at least 25% longer to root. In the RR I was showing roots in 7-10 days in 14 it was for sure or the damn thing wasn't rooting, With RW cubes it takes 2 weeks and sometimes still no roots. There will be no more RW used in my garden after this cut round. Anyone else feel this way about the RW cubes? I wasn't even soaking my RR's just hitting them with some solution after they were domed, i'm sure if I soaked the RR with some great white and other rhyzo products I would have great success.

You know I was checking the seed banks tonight and noticed Green house's Cheese is sold out at both Attitude and the single seed centre. I have this one going and have for a while and its really really impressing me this time around. Last time it was like the odd man out, in that the rest of the room was filled and it was kind of a tester to see quality/yield/and possible hermie issues. This time I only ran 1 again just b/c I like it but this time my temps are better and its in better light and i'll tell you that thing is already twice as resiny as last time. Its a really sativa pheno in that the leaves are very skinny, it looks like the GHS pic of they're cheese on the single seed centre site. The others I have seen looked super indica. Fat leaves and shorter nodes, but this sativa pheno fills out like a mother, its awesome. I will get a good pic of it on here. Here is one from last time.

Yeah, those RR do look better. When I first started I went to the hydro store and bought a freakin' sheet of RW. Way more than I need. I have had good success with them from seeds, so I have no reason to change. I built an aero cloner a few days ago, so once I start growing clones, I will move straight from the cloner to a bed of hydroton. That's the plan anyway.

So, what's the stretch looking like on your SKs? I tried to look for the info, but didn't really find it. Sorry if you already answered. Mine are outgrowing my damn space really quick. I'm considering flipping to 12/12 even though it's only been 3 weeks since sprout. I would rather minimize harvest than be overgrown.

The stretch wasn't that bad but the OG's are, my SK is Sour diesel dominant so its not as bad as the OG's but if you have one leaning towards the OG's yeah there is considerable stretch. Look at my pics on this page, you can tell they were pretty small a few weeks ago now they are huge. I would say they triple in size or close to it, mine started at around 12 inches now they are 30 inches or taller, but thats the OG's, my sour kush isn't as bad but still stretches pretty good.

Nice pics. Starting to get a little frosty. I bet your room smells as nice as it looks, too. I noticed in the last pic that the leaves curl up slightly on the edges. My last two plants did that. Is that normal or a telltale sign of something?

Its actually just resin thats causing them to slightly curl and its only on the sweet leaves. From the pics I have seen this is completely normal as long as its slight like this. The other reason I only think its an OG type of thing is none of my other plants have ever done this and as I said its resins that are stacked on the edge so its really not that curled. I would have to say if its happening on your too then its definitely nothing to worry about. My temps are good, never even going past 79, and thats the temp above the tops so its not even that hot with the air circulating. The last photo is the Sour kush.

I have been doing this a while and my Mazar puts out a crazy amount of resin/trichs, so I am used to seeing a crystally plant. Now the Sour Kush is looking great, good resin production but the OG 18 is fucking insane. Today I looked and the buds are almost completely white from trichome coverage. Its awesome, I wish I had a good Camera with Macro b/c my camera kind of sucks a close up shots. It would not get any closer than the Sour Kush pic and was hard to make focus at that distance. Take it from me if you get a chance to order some OG 18 from Reserva privada order a couple and look for a good keeper b/c this thing is phenominal! Everything I have heard has been great but I didn't expect it to be this awesome! Worth every penny.

I have been using General Hydroponics (the whole line) and adding Atami Bloombastic. This has given me great results but I have heard so many good things about Canna that I want to try them. Do any of you use or have experience with the Canna lineup. I have been using they're coco exclusively for a few runs now and find it to be superior to other coco's so I figure using they're coco specific nutes with they're coco would yield great results. At the least I am going to buy the liters and do a test of it but I really would like to just go ahead and get the gallons. Let me know what you all think. It's not that I do not like GH or are having any problems, I just feel they're are probably better nutes on the market especially for coco.

i have some of the sk myself, I got 3 phenos and the sativa dom with 9 finger leaves seams to be the better yeilder than the smaller indica dom. the only problem with the sativa dom is it almost triples in size.

and the indica dom pheno was a mutant, it deff hermi'd out and also had webbed leaves that were connected between the last tiny finger and the pre flower and stem it was a leaf caylx and stem all in one.

i also have a few indica clones fro the exact same plant all yeilding low but some more so than others i have a 1.5ft plant that looks like i may get an oz at most, while the other sativa dom plants look to yeild 2.5-3oz

and also only had one of the clones show hermi traits..its just hermi prone due to stress from the enviroment..my stress came from possibly switching from T5 to 1200w's of HPS in a day and flowering quickly from rooted clones

So the sour kush ended up getting trashed, it took over 65 days to really finish off and it isn't even in the ballpark of my freak of an OG18. The OG18 I found doesn't yield very big at all but it is the craziest stickiest, DENSEST, most lemony fuely bud I have ever seen. I am in love with it and would suggest it to anyone looking for something top shelf.
