Warlock, OG #18, and Sour Kush aka Headband Grow!

Went and gave some water with a little cal/mag, I think the Warlocks will be fine, and are maybe growing a little slow because of a strong feeding too early but this is really a testament to how good the boys at DNA and Reserva Privada are killing it! The plants coming from them are 100 times more vigorous, the leaves are stronger, they have a stronger stalk, and appear to be just really hearty plants. The warlock in other grows did grow a little slow compared to Mazar and cheese but catches up in flower due to a decent stretch. Cant wait to see this OG kush and og dominant Sour Kush!

Sooooo after much deliberation I pulled the shitty warlocks and have taken a ton of OG 18 and Sour kush clones, mainly OG. This is going to be awesome, from the growth I saw and how quick they root I literally will not be behind that bad. It in fact will give me time to get the new toys into the growroom and make some improvements. Oh and the harvest is almost dry! Off of the 3 mazars I got exactly 105 grams, they are in jars curing now. The Cheese is a stinky bastard the whole way through, even drying this shit smells simply amazing. Cant wait, it doesn't appear to be the biggest yeilder but we'll see what the individual plant weights are. The warlocks came down thick and fruity as always, there is just a flaw in this plants genetics and with time it appears to be getting worse so as long as the OG turns out to be awesome it will take its place.

I strive for perfection and quality is my primary goal. I do not think salvaging some crappy growing plants is the way to achieve this. I really had no choice and am only sad it took me a week to come to this realization. My cuttings look amazing so I am on my way, I am now using Sublbc's rockwool method, and I can say they are looking great. I took 3 testers 5 or 6 days ago just to see how they did and all 3 were super vigorous over the whole time. I was using the rapid rooters but I feel there are inconsistencies in there media and I needed something a little more sterile.

you should have put the war lock in the best light and the kushes on the out skirts of the table/try i have sour kush headband on day 30 of flower diff. 2 phenos for me too i accully starteda thead so peeps would show thier pics but peeps are lame asses heres a few pics. these are from a few days ago

No man I have been doing this a while and they were straight overgrowing my shit. And they weren't even getting enough nutes b/c of the slow shitty warlocks. The warlock is my favorite smoke up to now, simply amazing! Sooooooo fruity and want to talk about stink, I swear I can outstink just about anyone. Its almost not a good thing in some cases. Your plants look good, I have heard several reports saying that the Sour Kush is the best pot they ever grew or smoked!! Can't wait, I have them and the OG 18 getting ready to go into veg now. My best warlock cut has some growth problems and in the past I was able to deal with it by doing what you have said earlier however this time was a little worse and it was causing me to neglect the other's just to get those to par and that just doesn't work for me. I strive for quality and those were not quality. Had they been by themselves I would have let them go, but I will not and I mean will not neglect some killer strains to baby some straggling genetics.

Yeah I also wanted to touch on the people are lame part. NO JOKE! At least on this site. I have had this thread open for a while now and have only talked to one other person other than you. Seems like alot more lookers than growers. Did you check out my pics of the warlock, cheese and mazar? I posted some on this thread but have a bunch on my profile.

No its not a def. as weird as that sounds. Its a fault in the genetics and generally outgrows it. I wouldn't even put up with it but its the best in my garden. Seriously good pot! I was bummed b/c of the overgrow of the warlock. I pulled them all except a warlock to make another mom and an OG for the same reason. In there place I am doing all OG 18 and Sour kush aka Headband. They are almost rooted and will be in veg very soon. I will keep this up for sure. It bums me out to have to start over, never had to do that before, but I refuse to deal with stragglers. This is going to be awesome! I have 2 sour kush pheno's 1 og dominant and the other Sour Diesel dominant. I will post pics as soon as they hit veg.

I'm back! My internet went down for around a week and a half which sucked but I am back fo sho. The girls are looking incredible and are vegging as we speak. I will load pics of the new crop, which is OG 18 and Sour Kush. I may throw a cheese in just for me but for now its just OG and Sour Kush. The down time was actually a blessing. It allowed me the time to clean the shit out of the area and rebuild with all new gear! New 4X4 tables, New Exhaust and Carbon Filter, Fan controllers, and I switched to Canna Coco, which by the way is the best stuff on earth. These plants love it! Like I said i will load some pics in the next day or so.

Sorry Everyone I said I had to take down and wasn't running those warlocks with the OG and Sour Kush, Now they are vegged and 1 day from hitting the flower room, I have completely revamped my grow space and the plants are looking great! I will get some pictures up asap, I have had alot going on the last month, rebuilds, lots of work in veg., and I changed internet servers making the switch to fiber optics so I haven't had the net for around 2 weeks. Ill post asap.

Here it is the update!

A new pic or two. They look soooo good, I cannot wait. I know the OG gets a little stretchy in veg. but its definitely branching up and the Sour Kush's look amazing! One pheno is leggy like I assume the Sour diesel can be and the other is shaped like a perfect hybrid, nice steady internodes. They just all around appear to be super vigorous and getting big. The OG is killing it also, the OG and Sour Kush are so vigorous I threw a cheese in there with them for the hell of it and they are swallowing it alive. It just couldn't keep up in veg but its definitely making a run for it here in the first week of flower.

Its the end of the second week and they are looking amazing, especially the Sour Kush's! The OG's look amazing too but the stretch on them is a little more than what I am used to but they still have that awesome christmass tree shape and are consistent with they're nodes. I am very excited to see which pheno of the Sour Kush is better.

Well a very sad discovery this morning. To begin I am a very punctual grower. I am always paying attention and on top of my shit. No light leaks, no shitty environment, never had a hermie. I have grown plants that others have guarantee'd me pretty much a hermie and nothing but I have seen a couple of threads saying some of the sour kush's were hermie period and would show themselves and sure enough those sneaky fucking bastards did. All of my number 1 pheno of the Sour Kush had ball sacks under some of the lower leaves right next to the bud. The number 2 or lanky pheno appears fine and actually was looking better than the number 1 in flower anyway. The OG's are hanging in strong and I really do not anticipate any problems out of what I have left but out of 16 I lost 5 Sour Kush. I will not tolerate looking for and picking off pollin sacks. All it takes is one to fuck up your whole room so I killed all 5 immediately. 11 out of 16 though will still be very respectable and they are actually bigger than what I normally SOG with so it will actually yield wise probably not be that big of a disapointment. I will watch the pheno number 2 closely but I only have one of those in flower so I don't expect any big surprises from here on out. In the end watch out for Reserva Privada Sour Kush.

Yeah man im better than going! They look awesom I haven't updated the pics in a second but they are looking good. beginning of the 3rd week and the stretch is stopping. I have no tolerance for even 1 ball. That mom that could have given probably 50 clones at once was hacked down at the same time as the 5 in bloom. Fuck that, I spend waaaaaay to much time and money to have 2 different tables fucked up by a handful of shitty plants. I still have 11 in bloom and one of them is still a Reserva Privada Headband aka Sour Kush but its a different pheno and it looks PHENOMINAL! The ones with the sacks were actually the shortest with the shortest nodes. I thought they looked alright in veg but actually the lankier 2nd pheno looks much much more promising. I know this will turn out awesome anyway! I added my side lighting today with t5's 6500k running down each side of the main hood and WOW what a difference it makes. I am so stoked and i'm just happy I found the balls as soon as I did. The OG's look great of course also. I will update once some real bud development is going. I have a whole table of Warlock and Mazar coming into bloom in a week. Even with that pheno 1 gone from the moms I still have Cheese, Mazar, Warlock, another Sour Kush, and OG kush so I am happy and I was looking to simplify anyway so there you go.

Heres another update, beginning week 4 starting to really fatten up fast!

Man these things have been bringing on the resin for a couple of weeks now and its pretty awesome. This sour kush is definitely Sour Diesel dominant and is amazing so far.
