Voidling's Wicking Bed

Well I was gone for a day ands half and just checked the girls. Holy shot they shot up in such a short time. I'm afraid they'll hit the light yet. When should stretch stop? Monday will start week 3 of flower. These were only 4 nodes tall then 2 weeks of veg to grow roots and it is too much. I'll have to do like a single node or a single plant lst and still flip quick. Next time I'll add koolbloom earlier to see if it stops the vertical growth

Gently soften the stems toward the top growth via pinching. You don't want to fully snap them like super crop just soften them, it will slow down the vert and stimulate the lowers. Not to mention it will fortify the stems.

I'll give it a shot. I tried super cropping on the blueberries I had and they grew into the light, so I did it a second time and it grew into the light again. Ha

So the people that grew out the room seeds were telling me how it keeps them awake and gets them thinking and what not. And when I took a hot tubs other week didn't really do anything to me, when one hit of mine knocks me out. Mine flowered for 8 weeks so I wonder if they are only going like 6 weeks

After you pinch, the volunteers that shoot up, pinch em too. It's a round and round till they stop stretching which should be soon if your at week 3.

As far as the rom, if it's not lights out it's not being run to finish just like you said! **I know that line was selected on indica traits and should be a bat to the head.... good night!

You can also LST in flower it'll just slow your harvest some. If possible keep them lights right down on the buds.

They got the seeds out of some bud I gave them. They told me that I had let it go to long. One has sleep issues so not site why she'd say I let it go to long. Thanks for the confirmation Colo

My light is pretty close due to being a small cab. I think the nodes aren't too spread out, just grows a lot, added lot of nodes since flip.

That's what you want for yield... just not for a small cab space :) That works for LST though just tie the branches down as needed until they stop stretching and putting out new nodes. if you run out of horizontal space and vertical well don't know what to tell ya then :) it can a couple of weeks of mature time though

Yeah. I was afraid my cab wouldn't work for sativa plants. I think I'd have to run a single plant to prevent over crowding. I'll post a update pic tomorrow. One day early of week 3 start

Follow the above advice and you'll be good to go!
Late as always, but an appearance nonetheless!

sativa + small cab = pain in the ass if not undoable ;) gotta stick with the low stature hybrids and indicas. White russian was a strain that stayed short and compact for me with some sativa influence but put out chunky indica type nugs for a good yield. can't recommend apollo for your cab it likes to put out node after node after node (and some branch upon branch on top of that) :)

Yeah I got T's kush crosses to grow. Got a shit ton of stuff to grow.

I'm interested to see how much the Apollo produces.

I'm about to germ the fruity sparkles so I'll run into the same issue. This time I'll lst then from the get go and crush them like Colo was saying. Probably end up with two runs so I can make seeds just in case I lose a mother. Still sad over my lemon blueberry loss. Hoping the pineapple c99 flavor comes through on the sparkle

The Malawi was fine in a small cabinet - topped, LST, and ScrOG. I just need to keep the plant smaller or get a bigger light (1K hid???)

My first hydro try and the roots went bad before she could finish :(

Cheers,
Mo

It is in the Kessil Malawi Indoor journal. The top and clones were used for the outdoor grow (see my sig)

Yeah I had no luck with hydro either. Cab too small and no good way to keep rez temps down so I went to a wicking bed.

What size is your flower cab?

Week 3 starts tomorrow but I won't have time to update so here it is a day early

I bent the tallest branch over to keep it from growing into the light. It looks like there is more clearance in the pics than it does sitting there. Guess my vision angle is higher than the cameras

The first one is with flash, the second without.

I still hate the picture upload now. Can't que multiple without going through attachments, and there is no progress bar anymore for either
