Shit dude,my tent is 2x2x3,ive got this shit all rigged up,I'm freestyling this joint til I get a bigger tent, but that won't be until I move out of this house and get a full basement or a more private spare room...theres just too much in and out of this room cause it connects to the garage...but it's working for now!!!View attachment 4132750 My two biggest autos...32 days from seed...
Those certainly don’t look to bad to me frank what strain are they and what do you have them under for a light

I’m working on some low stress training with an auto right now that I got from my local dispensary topping could be done right but I feel like it would have to be on one of the longer flowering varieties of autos that way it had the extra time to recover my advice would be run these ones normal then get the same strain and try topping them once you kind of know what to expect

My thoughts exactly... Photos I would do it no hesitation, but I don't know anything about autos, at least not enough to be trying to do something I'm not sure about...

Ha ..sadly I can't add any info about your light. However (for the record), I'm running with a cob light so old it's a Vipar (which i 'believe' was the name of Viparspectra before a name change). It's a nine cob unit (cobs are the old Chinese 'red, blue, green' kind). It pulls 512 watts at wall (all nine cobs on) and has two switches allowing either 9, 5 or 4 cobs running (at any one time). No issue with cob lights breaking or diodes dying (bought unit back in 2014). Probably worth £100 or less now (although I haven't seen one second hand). It also happens to heat my 1 meter square (2 meter high) tent to 24 degrees in winter (and 27/28 degrees C on hot summer days). So it ironically gives good environment :)

I mention this cheap light as I think genetics are the most important factor when starting a grow (especially an inside grow). As an example; I just got an excellent plant from a Strawberry Cream seed (breaking buds), before that i was flowering an old '93 skunk variety.
Have a look at my current tent grow, the strawberry cream plant is at the front on the right (the '93 skunt is at the back of the tent in a basic scrog). Both strains started flowering the same day (3.5 weeks ago), the difference is quite startling (fyi - the plant at the front/left is a Malawi x Panama, 1.5 weeks into flower).

Obvious an 600 HPS would beat this but then I'd have to deal with heat, light height, bulbs etc. And I get enough good meds with this light in this space (flower tent always set for 12/12), for the moment. One day I will go Quantum though ..one day :)

Shit puff for The amount of buds I see floating around that space I’d say fuck it and just deal with the old light like you said that looks like it’s gonna be an awesome yield this is my kush auto first ever from seed to harvest of any plant running it under a 110w actual draw blurple ufo light from growstar for my space and what I desire not to bad would like to see how a photo flowers under it have one that’s been in veg for over two and a half months with at least 15 tops

Thanks Keg. And that looks like a great plant you got there (from just a 110 Watt blurple ufo). That main cola looks resin-tastic! If the genetics are good, your '15 topper' will be impressive. With so many tops you will probably want more wattage (for the biggest buds). However, it's fun to see what you can get with just 110 watts :)

Sad thing about auto's (for me) is that you can't select a 'keeper' when you get a plant that grows/yields especially big. Plus, using photo plants means 12 hours (or less) light/cheaper running costs during flower.
I'm making a dwarf (using a clone) of the high yielding strawberry cream plant right now (along with a Malawi x Panama dwarf). It will end up in my 60-80 watt veg tent (set for 18hrs). fyi - my plan is to have around ten dwarf mother plants in a small tent (basically trying to make a small, low watt veg tent with the most mother genetics in it)

That is a rather great idea puff you certainly have your mind in the right place for cost management also a great way to keep Mother’s but not have them take up to much space

Trying to keep that carbon footprint small ;) and using less electric (added to some savvy light/hr adjustments) helps to keep unwanted 'corporate' eyes away.
Not to mention, dwarf plants are easy to transport (if needed), making it easy to move the fundamental building blocks of any grow ..and they're not high maintenance (as they are small and don't use a lot of water - it's easy to put them on a small/simple wick system ..if you need to go away for a week or two).

You guys are too heavy for me to be trying to keep up with. Mad scientists/ McGuyver's indeed!!! I've been away from the game too long, now I'm working hard to catch up and understand

Wooo lots of hate for vipars in this thread!

I have used two 300w vipars in two grows and did well, both 4 plants, first 6.5 oz, made some simple mistakes, and second came out to 9.8

I’m going to use them for veg but change to another Chinese LED such as mars with a lot of red and see what happens

You’ll get the same results. Might as well use the ones you have. Tomato, Tomatoe when it comes to those 2 lights.

I have both mars and vipars AND a diy COB fixture. My DIY pulls right at 300w. And it grows really nice plants, I have really good yields and the buds are frosty if the strain is capable... 35k cobs cxm’s 22.
And no the Mars Hydro and the viper 600 or two different lights. My vipar grows circles around the mars light. The vipar also grows frostier buds than my DIY. I’ve already done a grow comparison. The vipar buds are just a tad smaller than my DIY.
