Just a question for everyone to see if theyve come across the same problem as I.
I recently purchased a Viparspectra 300w from the company themselves after previously using a DIY CFL light. Second day after putting up the lights I noticed white specks on the leaves, mainly the two or three buds under the lights. So first thought was starting to bleech them from the brightness. After closer inspection... Spider Mites!!! Now i know the deadlyness of the mite on a cannabis plant and know they reproduce like crazy and so hard to get rid of.
So... I have not visited another garden with the mites, nor have I never had mites in my indoor or outdoor gardens. Could they have been on the light from the factory??????
I have been through all situations where they might have came from and I cant think nothing more than from the light. Hopefully someone can pass this along or reply with more knowlege on these.critters. could they have been dormant in the soil? They did not show at flip. I am 6 weeks into flower and they just showed. I went to my local garden shop and we decided on sns-217. I had no choice but to spray the buds as well as the leafs so i will start a thread on it for people to see the outcome of buds being sprayed with the sns this far into flower. I appreciate all the help you guys can give me. Thanks
