Damn. I'm at day 40 and I still haven't flicked this shit to 12/12. I think this weekend will be the start of my flowering. I have a couple possibly males I need to keep my eye very carefully on to make sure they don't pollinate the ladies. I'm also a little hesitant to turn the dial up to 600W. My temps are sitting at 82F as it is. May have to crank the A/C a little more. It'll get sorted out one way or another. The clones still look green. I've been spraying them intermittently when I'm home. I'm hoping this water only technique pans out or I will have to try another route and take cuttings while the plants are in flower. Not ideal but this is all a learning thing for me.

Besides the plants, life has been good. I've been slowly brushing back up on my mathematics skills so I'll be ready to retake Calculus 1 again. I can't believe I'm retaking Calc 1, 2, & 3. Problem is that shit was over 6 years ago. Oh well. I'll get there.

Enough blabbing. Here's a few new pics.....

Deep Psychosis 3 (FEMALE!!):

Sour Cherry 2 (possible male):

Lights have been flipped to 12/12. I got some FIM done last week. The clones seem to be keeping their color for the most part, but haven't noticed any growth of roots yet. It has only been 4 days. If these rounds of clones fail, I'll have to try again. I don't know if I will use the same technique again (water only). Suggestions as to what may be the issue. The water does look to have a slight milky color to it for some reason.

Well the plants are looking great. I'm still waiting on the one possible male. I'm an optimist what can I say. hah. As for the clones well. I've emptied their water and gave them a fresh batch of pHed water. I didn't see any root development yet, but it's only 4 days in like I said. I'll start worrying if there isn't any development by this weekend.

Everything is going great. Met this bad chic this past weekend. We were at this festival in the city and we ducked off in the bushes to smoke. Literally laying down in the bushes. Wild chic but hella fun.

Yeah buddy. Been a while since I laid in some bushes smoking weed with a little chica. I'm glad someone's out there doing it. Makes me happy lol. Good luck with the clones... I never took a clone so I got no advice.

Happy tuesday!

Hell, it's not my norm, but she was just so charismatic about it so it was impossible to say no. Also helps that she's so easy on the eyes too. hahah. I hope to do some more of it this Friday. It was just odd because it was in a courtyard in the city a block off main street.

sounds good man. good to hear.

Maybe some love is in the air.... maybe for me too :D
Shit man I forgot that holiday was around the corner too. Luckily I asked her to go out this Friday instead of Thursday though. hah. So how'd you meet this chica TLD?

TLD you got any suggestions on those clones of mine?

thats an awesome way to meet a chick bro.

Well I met this lady almost 2 years ago. we have been good friends talking through text and messanger and on the phone a bunch. she lives quite a ways away and has a daughter of her own. Honestly I see out lives being very different and going in completely different direction.... but I keep hoping I will run into someone and things will click with them haha.

as far as your cuttings. they are in cups of water? not using rockwool or anything like that? Did you use rooting hormones?

I was quite content with it. I was at my buddy's house before we left for the festival and her and her friends came over. She bummed a cigarette. Then later in the night at the festival she kisses me and tells me some shit like I've been wanting to do that since I asked for a cigarette. We'll see how it goes Friday.

Keep hope mane. That's all that I can say. Life has a funny way of throwing opportunities at ya. It's all about taking advantage of them for however long they are there.

On to the cuttings, sorry about the soapbox speech, yea they are in cups of water. I didn't use rooting hormones. I was reading that a few people used just water, and I remember my dad doing the same with some plants. So figured I'd give that a shot. They are just sitting in pH'd water that's it under a T5 but not directly.

hmmmm... well if thats the method you have chosen. It can and does work. stirring the water to keep healthy Oxygen levels helps. dont expect high success rates but it can happen, and it could easily take up to a month.

But hey... I was trimming the undergrowth of one of my plants, and just stuck a cutting in the soil without even thinking... a week later and its growing and has roots (shrugs)

I just figured I'd try that method. If it doesn't work then I'll just take new cuttings and put them into coco pucks. It's crazy how things sometimes just work without effort.

the cutting will use its own rooting hormone in the right conditions roots will develop and be happy, just takes longer without the gel/powder etc to give it that kick into it.

Aright. I appreciate the help TLD. With any luck I will have some cuttings ready for direct T5 light in a week or so. Worst case I have to go buy some rooting hormone and take some more cuttings.

I think I may just pull that possible male sour cherry. No sense in it eating up nutes and coco for no reason. Everyone else has shown their pre flowers, even the one under the T5 light. I think I may just purchase more 3 gallon pots this go around so I'm not screwing around with transplanting them.

Things to do....

Well the final female count is in. There are 2 female Sour Cherry's, 3 female Deep Psychosis, and 1 female Qrazy Quake. About par for the odds (50/50). I'm just waiting on these cuttings to produce some roots. I will probably take a second set of cuttings this weekend just in case, using rooting hormone and coco pucks. Better to be safe than sorry.

In other news, I did my tax return. This is the first year I've done them myself. I usually have pops file for me. I'm all growned up hahah.

Also, I gotta date with that chic tomorrow night. Going to a comedy club then possibly out to a club after that. The nice part is I'm not stressing it the least bit. She's texting me and gives me my free time. I love it. One of these days I'll get in the tent and take some updated pics for you guys (likely tomorrow, if I can get everything else done before my date). Be easy comrades.

Sounds like good times all around man! :)

Ride that wave as far as you can ;)
