You sound like an athlete, or a coach.

But seriously, I feel quite comfortable growing in soil, because I'm somewhat familiar with how plants act. Patience grasshopper. lol

Exactly! Proverbial phrases applied: Start Small Go Big. All good things in their due time. make a foundation to work from, make it strong. Less is more. Work with what you have first. Small steps go a long way. Look before you leap, and wait for the opportune moment. Change is undeniable, Choice is yours. ;) always many more too.....
I knowwwww I knowwwww (5 year old being lectured voice). hahaha. I do appreciate the pointers. There are some things I definitely wish I did differently. But as long as I'm learning from them I suppose that's the point.

Haha... look a squirrel .. I know the feeling with the growing ADD... always want to look at something new, some other thing. My best advice with this game is to concentrate on getting what you have going on dialed in. It will train you in 'dialing in', know what I mean. So that when you do the 'next thing' you will be an expert at getting shit dialed in. You're young there will be time to try all the ideas you have.
What's with all this young stuff. hah. You're right though all in due time. I can't believe some of the dumbass shit I've done thus far. I'm glad I'm not the only one. It is now a coined phrase "Growing ADD". It'll catch on I promise. I will be spending a lot of time with my plants this weekend just observing them. I feel like I do much better learning about them when I take a day during the week to learn by observation.

I'm gonna go shoot some pool tonight. Wish me luck as I'm mediocre at it (I do have my shining moments though).

Well guys the plants are looking much better than my last update IMO. The have recovered from their slight dehydration. The mains on these are getting pretty thick. Shit that's what I forgot to take a picture of. Next update. I don't see any preflowers popping up yet just the stipules right now, but I'm keeping an eye for them. From what I've been told/read should be about another week and change. checkkkk emm outttttttttt.

Looks great!

I would wait a week and a half, you should have preflowers on most by then. They should be making good use of feedings these days as well. good job :)

Thanks TLD. I need to make their next batch of feeding tonight so it will be ready for tomorrow when they need it. I can say one thing about the grow, the OdorSok is shit. The apartment already has that smell in it. hahah.

seeing it from this view makes a big difference. Yes, I think a vert SCROG would work really well for you, especially with just a lil extra veg time ;)

That was my original plan. I have to start trusting that I can do this. I did do a lot of research to get to this point. I think I'm going to wait another 3 weeks (at least) before flipping the photoperiod. I would like to put the screens in after I've determined which ones are male. I also need to figure out a design for these screens. I suppose that will be today's project, designing. I'll post an update on the plants later today.

Deuce Bigelow was actually a pretty funny movie. If you like Rob Schnider.

Okay okay I know I slacked and should've had some pictures up a couple days ago but I was busy. Being lazy watching movies and being high yesterday and Saturday well fuck I got lost in a city I don't know as well as I thought I did. hahah. On to the subject of interest. The plants are looking phenomenal, IMO anyways. I now know I'm a fucking dumbass for trying to begin doing this running three strains from the jump. hahah. Well at least I should have a few females. So here's for your viewing pleasure.....

First up is the lovely Qrazy Quake 3:

Next is Qrazy Quake 1:

Okay you guys get the fucking picture same as usual haha Qrazy Quake 2:

I was going to upload my screen design but I need to figure out a way to convert a tiff file into a jpeg or RIU acceptable format.

Don't worry Jig I wasn't about to forget to comment amidst the update. I'm not sure I have a favorite Rob Schnider movie. Thanks on the plants man. They really do talk to you I swear. I heard them. Sunday as I stared at them for a while. hahah

So I checked on them this morning and a few of them were droopy. I fed them so we'll see what happens when I check on them tonight. The one gallons are not sufficient as it was pointed out earlier in the thread. I have a couple of 3 gallon pots left but there is one crucial problem…SPACE!!!! I'm thinking of flipping the photoperiod so I can determine sex. Any thoughts?

space?? Looks like if you train them right, go Vert, and transplant them you should have plenty of space.... ?

Its all up to you ;) I wouldnt with a 1000W... I would wait another 2 weeks

They looked a little better when I got home. By space I meant the pots as well. I need to get more 3 gallons but kinda short on cash right now. I have one not being used right now and one that the smaller Deep Psychosis is using (but could put it in the 1 gallon I take the others from). The issue is that still leaves 2 more plants without an up-pot. Damn I slacked this weekend. Ultimately you're right TLD. If I do all those things I would be set. The only question is how should I train them? Using the screens (SCROG), LST, main-line, combinations...too many options. Oh I only have a 600W. I'm going to wait but I'm researching tonight. Period. Reading training techniques.

Jig you wanna make me some of those pots and send them to me? hahah

Okay so I started to transplant one of the one gallons. It had roots growing through the bottom. It went into a 3 gallon. I did run out of coco so no more up-potting for now. I think this round is gonna be shit now. I didn't take enough variables into account. i.e. enough coco, pots, etc. Well I think I may take this round as it is. A learning experience. I think I'll wait until they're 12-15 in. then flip it to 12's. Screens will go up this weekend. The rest will have to take care of itself. Fuck all. Kinda disappointed.

Well today has been productive so far. I have a new rack system in the tent which should allow easier access to dump the catch pans for the DTW. 1/2" PVC works wonders...hahah. Soon as I get one side of the rack set-up I will work on the other half tomorrow. I got some welded wire for the vert screens which I think should do the trick. The question really becomes how to support it, if needed. Cable ties and more PVC..hahah. Then this thing should be ready for take-off when the time comes to flip. Had some trouble uploading pics yesterday so here's some pic updates for ya ass....

NOTE:I didn't take pics of the T5ers (Sour Cherry 1 and Deep Psychosis 2). I've been experimenting on some main-lining (ish) techniques on the Sour Cherry 1. It's been kinda fun kinda like bonsai.

Thanks mane. Unfortunately I didn't see this until after I finished doing the first half of my screens. hah. I did kinda the inverse.

I took these pictures of the Qrazy Quake 2. You think it's a male?

The last pic was from yesterday if that helps.
