US pigs out of control

There was a 17 year old that lived behind me a few years back and his house was flash banged. The agents did it as soon as my wife and i pulled up into our drive way. I opened the car door and KABLAM...KABLooey. Scared the pee outta me. Get this, nobody was home!! As many guys that were there you'd think bin laden (he wasn't yet dead) was in there.

This was an entire neighborhood that openly grew marijuana. I don't find the police response surprising at all. I don't support these fascist actions but what did they expect? A few legal growers surrounded by a bunch of illegal grows, of course everyone got their shit ripped out.

As for all the other disgusting acts police seem to be committing more and more with each passing day, until people begin to actually fight back with force this escalation of our police state will continue. It will probably continue either way, but if they begin to lose lives and money the same as us citizens have, it might change some of the minds at the top. I honestly think most police don't want any part of the war on marijuana or any part of committing these horrendous acts, it's a minority, and the way the law enforcement system is set-up is to advance those who support and promote these failed polices and forceful actions, so really the only way to realistically change the system is to destroy it, and we all know that's impossible with our weak and scared society.

My point being, growers need to be more discrete. And legal growers need to distance themselves from illegal ones. Marijuana will never be fully legal, and even legal medical is in question. Expect and prepare for injustice because that's what we will all get.

This is not pigs out of control. This is about greed and exploiting the system for profit. When grows are big and obviously illegal this is exactly what should happen. Grows like this are perhaps the worst possible thing for the marijuana movement. These people are looking for open season on profit without taxation. Not going to happen. :fire:

It's a residential neighborhood :!: with idiots not bright enough to understand what they are doing. If you do commercial farming in a residential area it would be illegal to grow simple veggies.

You understand that 300 plants over 32 residences breaks down into a little over 9 per residence. The county limit is 30 per residence.

Best hope they all use fem seeds then!! I found a seed or two in my outdoor due to an inexperienced grower with males, somewhere.

Maybe not a newbie grower, but one who does not care about others.

the concept of legal vs illegal is quite irrelevant, the actions of the officers were very overboard.

More disgusting news of out-of-control dea scum. An army of 150 pigs attacked a small neighborhood, and raided 32 houses for their personal grow ops or a few plants in the yard. Flash bang grenades, ramrods, shooting dogs, all of the sadistic hoopla.

http://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/20120926/ARTICLES/120929653/1033/news?Title=-It-was-going-to-happen-sooner-or-later-
I saw this happening and it was a military operation. There was no checking to see if residents were legal under state law, the pigs cut down everything and took it away saying they were trying to control gang violence.

This operation to control gang violence was, by far, the most violent thing to ever happen to this neighborhood.

U.S. DRUG WARRIORS TERRORIZE SANTA ROSA IN PARAMILITARY POT RAID

SANTA ROSA, CA, Sep 27th: Eyewitnesses to Wednesday's federal-led raid on marijuana growers in Santa Rosa describe a chilling, full-scale paramilitary assault on a Latino residential neighborhood. Local residents were terrified by the military-style invasion, led by 150 agents from US Homeland Security (!), FBI, DEA, CHP and Sonoma sheriff's deputies. Invaders wore military garb and were accompanied by an armored military vehicle.

See the attached photo for an outrageous example of your federal Tax $$ at work making war on pot: <http://www.canorml.org/images/SantaRosaInvasion9_12.jpg>. See too the Press Democrat photo at (http://bit.ly/SFlz7k)

Agents stormed from house to house, pulling up backyard gardens, most of them small. Prop 215 claims were disregarded. The invaders seized just 1150 plants on 33 search warrants, a trivial take for such a huge operation. (US attorneys in CA typically regard 2,000 plants as the threshold for federal prosecution).
The Santa Rosa raids are a shameful example of all that is wrong with US marijuana policy. A military invasion of this kind would be totally unacceptable in any white, middle-class suburb, but was deemed perfectly fine in this poor, Latino neighborhood alleged to be infested by marijuana growers. This operation is a disgrace to the federal drug warriors in Obama's administration, as well as their collaborators in the Sonoma Sheriff's Dept and DA's office.

I really don't understand how anyone could justify that this is necessary.

Unless you are a corrupt pig, who can justify this because they are brainwashed, lying idiots.

This is a residential neighborhood, and some people are growing pot plants in their back yards. Who are you to say that they are doing anything differently than you are doing? In that county, the law allows 30 plants per patient. These pigs raided 33 houses, and took an average of 35 plants per house. That is if you believe the lying pigs, who always exaggerate every amount that they report to the media. They swarmed the streets with 150 pigs in full military clothing with helmets and machine guns, ramrodding front doors and throwing grenades into each house!!

How can anyone defend this kind of sadistic and reprehensible abuse of artificial authority?
