UNDER WATER GROA ROOM DESIGN w/ PICS!!

if i was to extend the length of this room to an underground cavity beneath the land it could actualy be a relatively enexpensive self sufficient living quarter for months maybe even years....a second mortgage could finance or jump start a project like this...any input???my ears are open for suggestions disscusions convo and comments....

the vents would have to be higher then ground level dont want water getting into them.

i feel you bout the exaust the drawing isnt that detailed but of course the water would be lower than land and the lil building would stand at leas 2-2.5ft above water matching the hight of the walk way..ya underdig

hell yea man, this will totaly work. I was watching one of those ritchy rich house shows and some guy had a secret room undering his pool that was like a garage, he stored all his classic cars and inside the garage (underthepool) he had like skylights so you could see up threw the pool from inside the garage. Its all just money man, if you could dig two deep enough holes then you could get a storage container and seal it with tar whatever that shits called they protect concrete fondation cover the outside of it all make sure theres no leaks water tight, then throw it in your very bottom hole fill that hole in to the top of the storage container, then you have a room already in a hole under your hole for your pond ... you get me hahaha

i read this thread a bunch of times now been thinking about it aww shit i cant wait to have my huge piece of land i am going to try and find one with a mountian on it so i can put build my house into the side of the mountian and deep so from the out side it just looks like a little shack hahaha

Go for it should only run you few hundred grand to set it up fully including the land, the dozers, the air engineering air shafts, the entrance ways to bring items in. the structure, pumps, and the lighting. Would have to be a solid room so no light leaked or at night it would show up to planes..With you saying only 2 1000 lights you could pay it off in about 8-10 years

yea thats what i was thinking and not even waterproof but water is heavy so it has to hold up to the weight of the water and whatever.

build it out of bricks then put concrete over that with rebar for reenforcement.....

If you find this idea feasible, you may possibly be a functioning retard, or just a 13 year old kid with a massive imagination...

duuuude that shit would be so hard.. it was hard building a fucking shed.. took like a month.. this shit would take years! and you cant just flood a place and call it a pond.. you would need a LOT of clay.. or cement.. then that would just be a giant pool.. and A FUCKLOAD of water.. oh god u need to sober up for a bit and think about it dude.. lol.. it takes a few weeks for a pool to fill up brand new. immagine a fucking pond.. oh god.. btw without clay the water would just sink into the earth and create a massive mud pool.

well you could put some pond plastic down. If you have allot of land i would get a sky veiw map and see if there is any streams near by my be able to tap into a stream so you have a constent water flow then at the bottom of the pond make a little stream back. Clay, Sand, Rock, no worries, this can be done. Like he said land and the backhoe are two of the most expensive parts, Then for the room and water prooffed then tested and if it has a leak he might have to drain the pond and start all over depending on the leak. I liked the brick, rebar, concrete, Henerys water seal 10 coats lmao, you could even do just a tube to a man hole on top with the materials you make your room out of so its one main unit. One thing i was thinking of is like a drain in the room just in case something does happen thinking of that you would need a emergeny shutoff for the electirc like a sensor so if theres water in there the main breaker shuts off so you dont get electricuted that wouldnt be goood, but then to the rooom full of water fuck so we need a drain tunel or tube somthing down hill/mountian and out somewere.

Let me go take some hits i will come up with some more ideas.

hmmm a month was it a barn ?? a normal shed would take a weekend maybe a week.

If you had 10 friends helping with the pond and the building of everthing i can see this project getting done in less then 6 months, but everything would be planed out before the room was built.
