What is his stance on energy policy? How about our economy? And his foreign policy experience? how is he with gaining bipartisan support? How about torture, the borders? welfare policy? Women's rights?
Why is it that you tell us how the two party system is broken...but, when someone wants to vote outside of those two parties, you get all bent out of shape?

Honestly, do you feel good with yourself knowing that there's a better choice out there, but you won't vote for him because he has no shot of winning? I wouldn't be able to sleep well if I went against my beliefs and voted for the lesser of two evils.

I am not "bent out of shape" - I asked legitimate questions, got answers?

Here's an answer...look it up on the internet. Johnson's positions are readily accessible on it. For me to type it all out for you, when it's already easy to find, would be a waste of my time.

Now, how about my question. Do you sleep alright knowing that there is a better choice out there, but since you know he won't win, you won't vote for him? Have you no conviction?

In a country with 300,000,000 people there is likely always a better choice.

I sleep quite fine knowing that I am going to vote based on reality and not what I wish would happen.

Do you vote for what you believe to be the best possible candidate...or the lesser of two evils?

Yes I do sleep as well as can be expected. If you don't quickly know his positions then how can you convince others to vote for him?

Keep up with the rest of the class, please.
As I've said numerous times....I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. In the three years I've been a member here, I don't think I've seen one person change their views due to somebody posting something on this forum. I'm here for the lulz. I think it's funny that people will vote for someone they may not trust or like just because their main opponent is an even bigger douchebag. I'm sure you already know this, but their both
big giant fucking douchebags! So what if one of them has just a little more scent of flower...

My one vote means nothing to the election...but, to me, it means I can feel good about myself knowing that I voted for the person on the ballot which I feel has the best shot of getting this country back to where it needs to be.

Or would you rather I vote who I think is the lesser of two evils?

Do you feel guilty? I was asking canndo a question and you answered. LOL!

If you're having guilt issues for voting Romney.....don't. Vote Johnson and be guilt free!

Again, by taking yourself out of the main political race you are meaningless. Neither the Democrats or Republicans will give a shit who you vote for or what you believe because you simply dont exist except as a statistical anomaly on a post election sheet.

Politics is more about moving the ball closer to the ideology you believe in.

You asked a question and I decided to answer it.

If you dont want to be bothered with that maybe you and Cannado should take it to PM's...

I dont feel guilty voting for the best candidate.

The converse of voting for the lesser of two evils is voting for the one more good.

Obama is more good than Romney.

Johnson believes that our tax system should be a "fair" tax or consumption tax that in my opinion is heavily skewed toward the rich and places the poor at a disadvantage. He belives that the implimentation of that tax alone will create millions of jobs. He believes that a balanced budget is the only foreign policy he needs to present.

I don't see that as the perfect candidate and he would be the lesser of Obama.

Please explain how a fair tax or consumption tax puts the poor at a disadvantage.

person A makes $1,000,000 and spends about $100,000 on taxable goods (taxed at 10%, just to put a number to it).

person B makes $50,000 and spends about $25,000 on taxable goods (same 10% tax rate).

person A pays a 1% tax rate in this scenario. person B pays a 5% tax rate in this scenario.

are you fucking simple or something?

oh, wait. you are. stupid question by me.

EDIT: person C makes $15,000 and spends about $14,000 on taxable goods.

person C would pay 9.3333% in taxes.

mathematics, how does that work?

So how come the millionare only spends 1/10 of his income on taxable goods, where as the person making $50,000 spends 50% of his income on taxable goods? Where did you find these fugures, or did you pull them out your ass like most of the bullshit you come up with. Only in Bucky's world.....

Zambonic.

In short the people with the smallest incomes spend the most on essentials. If all things purchased are taxed then those who are closest to living check to check will be the ones who pay the most in taxes and will have their lifestyle changed the most by having to pay such taxes.

So how come the millionare only spends 1/10 of his income on taxable goods, where as the person making $50,000 spends 50% of his income on taxable goods?"

Because he doesn't have to spend all of his money just to survive.

poorer people have to spend a greater percentage of their incomes on goods, it's math.

i was actually very generous in supposing that the wealthier the person, the more they spend.

also, you're a fucking idiot. go away.
