Trying to get at least 10oz

This is my second grow now and have vegging these for about 7 weeks topped and lst'd a bit this is day one flower using a 400w hps with plagron soil and nutes I'm going to attempt to SCROG these out so we will see how it turns out I'm hoping for 10oz dry is this achievable ? My tent isn't that big it's a 4 X 2 X 5

Dna genetics sharksbreath
Dinafem strawberry amnesia
Dinafem anesthisia auto 4 weeks old

I don't know in a tent your size, best I've done in a 4x4x8 with a 400 and 2-28 watt cfl's under the canopy was14oz 2g...and I had my hands full...7 weeks veg seems like a long time for just a 5ft ceiling...best of luck, though.

I've heard people pull 1lb from a tent also this size, but we will see I'm aiming for 10oz so hopefully it's achievable cheers man

I don't know those strains but 2.5 Oz per plant is very possible. Shouldn't be all that hard really

4oz per plant is definitely possible with the right strain, and at least 3 gal pots. I don't think you have enough space, they are almost touching each other now, and in 4 weeks they will all be double that size and still getting bigger. It will probably be close, your skills and experience will be the difference maker. 4 different strains all behaving different will be the real challenge

Yes, this, all of this. Stay on top of your LST so your scrog has a chance. 4 strains will be interesting to keep at an even canopy, and I don't even know if those strains do well in such conditions.

The chaces are you will pull 4-5oz's under a 400w hps, problem is a 400w hps will not cover a 4 ft long canopy, a 600w will only just cover this

look at this way, a 600w hps will just cover a 4ft x 4ft canopy so its a maxum of 3ft from the hood diagonal down to the edge of the canopy

400w will just cover a 3ft x 3ft canopy or your canopy size from the 400w hps is 3ft x 2ft = 6 sq ft

4ft x 4ft = 16 sq ft

a good yeild from a 600w is about 10-15 oz's in a 4ft x 4 ft room

your going to pull less than half that yeild, so keep your running cost low as you not going to pull 10 oz's

just look at the facts

your lights have a maxmin area they can give good qualty light to your plants, that results in high qualty buds.

The canopy size will have a direct impacted on the final yield, the environment and the skill of the grower.

Veg those bitches 2.5 months and flip. Youll hit your mark.

You should of had your screen up at least 2 weeks before you flipped and started training.

I vegged them a little over 7 weeks and did have a screen up in my other tent where they were vegged I could crank the light up to 600 but would be pretty hot at over 30 degrees is this doable as I have a fan bringing in fresh air constantly thus bringing in plenty of c02 or should I stick it at 400 and I'm not experienced by any means this is my second run and I understand the genetics I'm using are pretty good and reliable hopefully my goal is achievable thanks for input guys I'll be updating weekly

if you can get an air cooled hood, and have a 6" fan pulling cool air in one side of the room and out the other
your plants would be getting the maxuim light they can use, you will need to hang the oscillating fans upside down so you don't use any canopy space

you want a stadium shape canopy to get the highest yield

so the side of the screen is 1ft higher than the middle of the screen

then you could pull 10 oz's if your growing a high yeilding strain

Yes well I placed the sativa Dom plants at either side and the indica Dom ones in the centre so we shall see what happens thanks man

Well guys at the end of week 1 flower seems to be going ok pistols are all coming through already let me know your thoughts.

Looking good so far. You know for best results from a 400 you'll want to keep the light around 1 foot from the top of the canopy.

If I bring the light down the 2 end plants will be cut out

I've managed to crank the light up to 600w and keep the temp at 28.5 so hopefully it should increase my yield.

I got 8 oz from 3 plants with a month veg in 3gal pots if I were u I'd get rid of one transplant the others into bigger pots give another week and switch to 12
