thanks for those links BC. I can't comment on how stable, or how much bud those plants would produce.
but in my opinion, 50% more is just that guy, '(ricky's), guess. mathematically, it would only be 33% more.
Quadnode would produce 50% more, in theory. by his calculations, if he had quadnode, it would produce
100% more bud.

he also sells seeds for 30% thc plants, not the 3node, a different plant. as you said BC the mass spec test is really expensive.
I really doubt 'ricky' has had that test done.
his web page seems full of 'guesses' and personal estimates...ie; bullshit
"Warning: Very strong, psychoactive and pain numbing medicine. FOR MEDICAL USERS ONLY. Cancer, epilepsy and other chronical neurological disorders !"

so only get those seeds if you're chronical!

Well as sketchy as the webpage seems it Has been around for a long time

Videoman posted it back in early 07

Triplenode

That ad for the new stuff called "30% THC" is a strain hes apparently working on thats coming out in 2009.

30% THC count really is nothing special IMO. G-13 was hitting 28+% in the 70s. You gotta realize, when they do send a sample in, its the Best of the Best of the Best of that strain. So its gonna take some mad skills to unlock that potential.

I wouldnt be so quick to dismiss it as BS. Ricky was selling his triplenode seeds for $20 000 to other seed companies, then $10 000. And now only $400. I dont think the trait passes on through clones, once the nodes start to stagger then the trait is lost.

It does recommend growing from seed and topping the plants to create many more tops than a normal plant. I think thats where he gets his "%50 increase"

It is kinda just a novelty IMO, and not really anything I would be interested in growing. I can get great results with normal strains that I can easily clone. :leaf:
