My first grow ever had three.....it scared me on my second grow when there were only two. I thought I had a freaky weak plant until my buddy told me different. I will say this, and it may just be me being bias, but I have never had weed as good as that first grow.

I am disappointed. theoretically, that plant would have been a very high yielder.

Am I the only one who has hard of the new Triple Node strains? You can buy seeds with this exact trait now. Instead of hte standard 2 shoots per node it has 3 shoots per node. I think yours was just a fluke, but you CAN buy seeds with this exact trait.

Heres that link for the triplenode strains. Too bad your seedling died, some triplenode strains used to sell for $10,000-$20,000 for 10 seeds.

Yes, That is NOT a typo. $10,000-20,000 for 10 seeds.

Theres some new ones though, only $400 CDN for 10 seeds.

Its not "iffy" its been around for a long time.

I found the old thread where I first heard about it from Videoman in 07 when they were $20k

https://www.rollitup.org/seed-strain-reviews/11554-triplenode.html

They were so expensive because it was something new, this guy was the first to isolate and stabilize the triplenode genetic trait, he probably made a lot of money at first selling his genetics to other seed breeders.

Haha, this guy sells "pineapple express" seeds now too.

thats weird that the stem was cut... sorry to hear that.
possibly, during planting, when I compressed the soil around the stem, it got pinched between two little stones...
hmmm i suspect foul play is a foot. someone must have murdered it.....lol
hmmmm, Miss Scarlet in the grow room with scissors??
yeha but 30% THC.....come on
I thought 20% was about the top for retail seeds? maybe some experimental strains have higher, but not being sold.

Am I the only one who thinks good weed with high THC count is normal? 30% is average.....

Government Marjuana AKA G-13 is 30% THC

AK-47 30% from BC seeds...

Trainwreck 28+% THC

Another random pick, 25+% THC

i had a triple node Jack Horror plant back in the day... but i killed it... i had hoped to keep it alive to be selling the clones and seeds for mega bux like this guy did in the past apparently. i had always called it a 'triploid' plant but i guess triple node plant is easier to understand. It's one way of knowing you got the right seeds at least, that's for sure!

i didn't know anyone had actually homogenized a strain of this though and made it available by seed. my guess is that almost any strain can bear one of these... ya just gotta cross ur fingers.

don't beleive for a second that this plant produces %50 more bud, etc. I'd be impressed if it produced 20% more bud... but i think that would even be stretching it.

.....do you not understand how they get the THC count?

They send a sample in for a mass spectrometer test. It has nothing to do with weight or how the bud looks or anything. Its an expensive test thats why only big companies test their products.

It has nothing to do with marketing to morons... A little knowledge goes a long way.

How much a plant produces is ONLY determined by a growers skills. A strain just has more "potential" Unlocking that potential is up to the grower.
