Well, did you lollypop them already? If not, you might as well.

5 Weeks is a bit late eh?

Depending on the size of the plant, the available lighting and your skill. You never worry about it.

Harvesting in stages, ripe first, then allow the remaining bud to ripen up (1-2 more weeks) give you very potent lower buds.

won't that affect the yield tho?
Anything I reply w on here are methods I use. Wait and see what they turn into. Strains react differently to everything going on in your grow room and ways you use to enhance yields. Or get rid of the small shit at the bottom ends of your plant. Try it on a few and see if there's any change. Just my 2 cents.

Yes 5 weeks are a bit late. I'd do it after week 2. 3 the latest. Anything to help your yield. Do. Imo.

I do an initial at the flip.
At 2 weeks I look and remove anything I feel should be, to tighten up the end product.

First runs of strains are run with only the "simple" and minor lolly pop. I want to "see" what the plant will do (Airy? Dense? Little budding, Big budding, etc.) . I can then plan for how to care for it then. In the production runs.

Agreed bro. I've grown a bunch of different strains. Some like to be topped some don't. Lollipopped and not. You kind of have to see how they react.
