Most likely a virus take the curled part of and trash it don't clone a diseased plant because all the clones will have it and it's spread by insects or a pair of scissors. what soil are they growing in? If it were me I would trash the whole set up and start fresh soil and plants fighting that shit is almost futile.
well none of the plants have had anything like this affect them and i do handle them alot now that they're in flowering(ill go in and rough em up a bit) and it dousnt seem to be spreading. plus i already cloned it haha. but with it falling behind in resin production it'll prolly get trashed anyway. i did have one of the slower growing plants have curled leaves but that was due to a ph problem and she went back to normal once it was fixed.

i started them in half n' half of miracle grow and back yard soil. after dealing with them getting burned alll the time i switch to pure back yard dirt and compensated with extra nutes. it dries out fast but thats good for me as i tend to over water.

update on this little freak, her buds are by far the fatest fucking buds i've ever seen! nice and frosty too! the normal growing side is just as frosty but the fat bud pheno just isnt showing up, which kind of makes me glad i didnt get the chance to clone that half. no smells yet on that plant so im hoping it'll be worth keeping.
by the way, is there any way of determining a keeper before you actually harvest and cure he bud, or should i wait before i throw all the "trash" clones into flower?
5/6 are sowing great crystal production. i have two that are absolutly beautiful but arent growing too fast, while i have another one that dousnt look that pretty but is pumping out buds like a factory.

i havnt grown for personal smoke and to sell so im not sure how to size up a plant for market values.

well it came from bag seed. so most likely was grown in mexico ( i could be wrong), it was bricked and i do live in texas.

. these seeds have been quite surprising. i had one that was growing three fan leaves instead of two at each node... he unfortunately had to die...

well then... what is it?
Abiotic stress
Viral
Fungal
Bacterial
RNA damage
Crap soil
New growers

But definitely not a new strain you just discovered and are going to breed as new mutant plants, theres like a thread or two every week where some novice thinks this, almost laughable!

well then, thanks for the insult at the end. but please enlighten use of your knowledge about the genetic structure of a marijuana plant and how RNA damage actually occurs. and based on the reading of my soil, everything should be fine. all your other suggestions are easily dismissed by simply looking over the notes i have previously made on these plant. simply because im new the your little chat room doesn't make me an idiot. i've ruled out all the factors of what could be wrong with this plant and come to the conclusion that it is a genetic variant. you sir are an ass for assuming that because you have grown for a certain amount of time that you are "big sit" but in reality all you really are is... a big shit. insult me and i will insult you, your comments have only been a reflection of trying to distort the reality of this conversation to make yourself appear as somebody who know alot, but in reality your only allowing to world to perceive you as your really are... a person who insults people to ide behind their own pathetic lives and insecurities. and please do be as specific and detailed as you can on the explanation of this "RNA damage" as you can. because my understanding of the scientific world is not as small as you believe.

The only insult i precieve is the amount of threads where peeps like you have discovered some unbeknown genetic variant of mj and are about to start some supposed breeding program to isolate it, i just dont get where these assumptions are coming from and personally this stuff is way above our pay grades so why even act like its ever gona happen let alone you know what your talking about. These threads just pollute the knowledge of these forums and never end up with a new mutant strain we can all start to mess around with.

Dont feel insulted, go prove me wrong and market a new mutant plant, god only knows id love an mj plant that looks f' all like mj, would confuse the crap out of the pigs next time they bash my door in and i could probably win in court too.

The balls in your court with this topic, either serve me back an ace or let it go.

I posted one a few ago. Some more info on it. https://www.420magazine.com/forums/seeds-clones-and-strains/67470-perfect-stealth-plant-wally-ducks-ducksfoot.html

In veg doesnt look like a Cannibis plant at all.
Dude i know that strain as frisian duck, the slight webbing wont fool the police here but certainly game set and match to you for mentioning it. This is from those Aussie plants that grow in harsh conditions, a nice mutant that is actually breedable....

Maple leaf is another, when you get a mutant you can be sure we and seed banks will be mucho interested but as to the hundreds of posters here its just laughable.

for one you danced around the actual question. how does RNa damage occur and the effects of RNA damage on a plant. i do apologize about that last comment i was drunk as fuck. i have already searched the internet far and wide for the cause of this plants appearance. so i sign up to this forum to hopefully get answers from more experienced growers. but seems like all the more advanced growers just like to dis the new guys, and point out obvious things like deficiencies and toxicity problems, and virus's, bad soil. like dude, i've checked it all. so if you cant answer the question, and cant help in any way then, why in the hell are you posting on the thread in the first place?
