Greenhouse Seeds, TGA. Oh, wait, good breeders. Hmm

I'll always recommend Breeders Boutique, great folks, great strains, Mr Nice Seeds is also highly recommended.

Barneys is one of those companies that are rather hit and miss, as is often the case with many of the really large guys. The smaller guys typically seem to have a handful of strains but with such a limited choice compared to the big dogs, they can spend more time stabilizing and "perfecting" their strains, wheras big guys often just chuck stuff on the market with huge phenotype variation etc.

Literally doesmt matter where you buy your beans bruh! Just get a pack and run them... youll find a keeper

I would look for strains that fit your preference rather than breeders in general.

I have ordered from a lot of companies and every bank has their bread winners. Mostly its just about being able to run a pack and do a little pheno selection. That way your basically gauranteed something nice from anyone.

Run a pack and you'll get a keeper. What nonsense. Unless we are using a very vague definition of a keeper. If that was the case, hell, we'd all recommend GHS, but it's not the case, hence we dont. It can take so long to find something actually worth keeping, that it's just not worth the time.

Also consider on top of that, that not everyone wants to grow out 10 plant just to find one that is worth it, to mother and keep growing. A LOT of growers want to grow a strain, harvest it, try another. They do not want to faff around trying to find something worthwhile, they want to know that the seeds they buy (or seed, not everyone wants to buy 10 packs) will be great.

Are we looking for good medicine here??? Or the winner of the next cannabis cup? of course "keeper" is subjective.

And I do just fine from 3-6 seed runs so not sure why uour so quick to discredit my post.

I have never ran a 5 pack of anything without getting one plant that stands out and is great smoke.

Ive never grown a plant from anyone i would say was "bad" either.

Ive ran hundreds of seeds with no keeper.

Maybe im just a pot snob.

ive ran tons of bad plants. If they lack in potency, smell, or flavor, they get the boot right away.

Or not coming close to the description or genetics really turns me off big time.

I really am impressed when I like a description and genetics and the plant fits to the tee.

Ps. Even greenhouse has a couple awesome strains!
They do indeed have a couple of good strains. Unfortunately they sell more than 60.

You're no snob kgp. Some people are happy with good pot, you're looking for great pot. Of the hundreds of plants I've grown, there are only a handful I still think about.

I agree with ^^this^^.

It's all subjective though. I currently have 6 strains that are rotation in my garden. These have been collected via seed and clone after sorting through dozens of packs of seeds over the course of the last few years. I would guess that 90% of the packs that I've run have not yielded what I consider to be a "keeper".

Ive culled plants as well; was refering to plants that were healthy from the get. (sorry, sometimes hard to organize thoights on a 2" phone screen)

I dont mess around with anything that looks suspect or mutated. I have however never killed a plant that was healthy in over 10 years :)

Sorry. I can see that my lack of detail is rough for the nitpickers

Thats my honest 2 cents though, search by strain, not breeder; or juat buy a pack and pheno hunt.

I cant stomach another sensless argument on this site!
