Hello all first time grower here, just wondering what time of day is best to top my plant. After some searching this forum and the web I did not find a reference to the time of day just as to when in its life cycle. So is it best to do it after or before lights out, or does it not matter? Just wondering everyones input. Thanks

It doesn't matter really. I might choose, right at lights on, if it made a real difference......Gives the plant light time to advance "healing" faster....Any increased night time hormone delivery to the new "multi mains" will happen when the time comes and that short wait will not hurt.

my plants dont give 2 shits when they get mutilated. They carry on as if nothing happened day or night. I choose garden daytime to do my chores in an attempt to prevent accidents in the dark. my veg room is lights on full time so no matter, I'd never top a flowering plant.
