Hello all,
I have a 5'X5' tent with a Whisperline fan pulling air through a carbon filter
and out of the tent. I also have a passive duct, running to and in-taking air
from a mothers area.
This setup caused the desired negative pressure in the tent (odor control).
It seemed to be to be a bit higher than desired, so I stuck a short length
of ducting into one of the unused ports low in the tent. This ducting allows
air intake and also falls so that the end is near the ground, preventing
light leaks.
OK, the point of this post: I want to cover the opening of this extra vent-duct
in a way that will filter any flying insect (I grow fungi so these are about) from
getting into the tent. ....and I would like to find the material that will do a
good job while restricting the air flow as little as possible.
You see, I am sure that there is some common household material that ought
to do the job, but I have not thought of it yet.
A square of simple cloth would restrict flow more than I'd like, I am sure.
Cheesecloth? This is what I am thinking.
Anyhoo, have a great day.
