Fuck,

I just bought WWxBB, why is it shit?

Also Grape God stretching, isn't that somewhat grower error?
Its not shit that was just one person bad experience with a strain that could of been user error. No matter how many people you talk to someone will always have an adverse opinion if you talk to enough people about a subject.

Ive grown wwxbig bud and wwx big bud extreme with great results. Huge massive colas super stinky not the greatest quality as many of the elite connoisseur strains but thats not what that strain is for. Those big bud varieties are exactly what they say they are bred to grow massive yields for commercial farmers who want quantity over wuality and thats it.

Asking what strains suck to grow is like arguing over what nutrients to use. You will never get an absolute definite answer because there so many variables in this hobby and business.

I did notice though that if you let those big bud varieties bloom for too long and dont harvest at correct time they will throw bananas to try and reproduce itself which is what all cannabis does by nature. Probably had either some stress related hermies or flowered for too long and thats what will happen to many strains not just big bud crosses.

I'm really glad I read this. Great thread. I just got seeds in the mail from Herbies, about a half dozen different varieties. My first go out the gate was ww x bb. Only about 3 inches high and all I can do is hope. I still have 4 hoods of clones going so I just guess I'll have to keep a good eye on my new mothers from seeds this go around.

Yea guys it pains me to say that currently I am growing barneys tripple cheese, now before I g o any further I should mention that I have grew several of barneys strains with great results(blue cheese, critical kush, the list goes on)but when I tell you this is by far my worst strain grown to date.It has the same structure all the way through the plant, long full from top to the bottom stems with bud STACKED so close no light can be seen through a 2 1/2 foot stretch of bud.......but........I am 7 1/2 weeks in flower of an 8 week finishing time and hardly have any sugar on most of the buds(very disappointed)I have a couple of outher strains going that r absolutely putting these plant's to shame.........I must also add that this is not the first time I have seen this plant grown as a grower freind of mine has not long harvested his with the same results as mine(very LITTLE crystals)so BARNEYS FARM TRIPPLE CHEESE should be given a wide swerve instead I will settle for anouther round of his blue........in fact......I won't bother instead I'll stick with sannies, proper genetics that do exactly as advertised on the packet got a round of his herijuana and mad scientist going and as always their looking great......t/cheese r the long ones on the left,if they had thrown more trichs out it wouldn't have been to bad.........score out of 10........a generous 3...

I've had some bad ones from barneys columbian gold, lsd, eight ball kush, morning glory. But these were single seeds purchased not a whole pack. So can't really go by that. Coz their g13 and kritical kush, cherry berry and vanilla kush were pretty damn good. Also had a purple paralysis that was awesome and another I couldn't give away. So I guess your Mileage will vary..

I personally dont like to grow from seed unless there is a particular variety that I want and absolutely cant get cuts of. I like to get cuts I know are tried and true that produce quality meds and good yields. This way I know exactly what I am getting into and what I can expect for genetics. Growing from seed can be hit or miss as many of you are posting who have had these all familiar issues.

Some reputable seed banks I got that are definetely good everytime are TH Seeds and Rare Dankness. Never got a bad seed from either of those collections and recommend to anyone without a doubt.

And obviously always select the best plants to keep as moms to take cuts and produce your garden from. As many know different genes come thru different seeds thru breeding and you can literally have several different types of plants from one batch. So growing them out and selecting the best ensures you the best results you can harvest.

I gave thseeds a shot. Cold creek kush.....worst plants i ever grew. Then i heard the scam the owner pulled at 2010 cup with the name change. He took a local colorado bad ass strain....called it cck and entered it. Won like second or some bullshit. Then a few weeks later.....bam....cold creek kush available and for sale....except it wasnt the same....at all. Just some bullshit duff afghan he whipped up to rob people of thier cash. That adam dunn is a con man. Fuck thseeds. Hes pulled some shady shit on other breeders in the past too.

Back in the day I grew a strain called Cream Sodica. This was like 15 years ago. It had a nice aroma but it was so weak that it wasn't worth the time and effort to grow it. I've had Mexican brick schwag that was 100 times better. I don't think it's around anymore though thank God!!!

I have to agree. I found a killer keeper in a pack of their Cookies Kush and their LSD is great but any other strain I have grown from them was complete crap. Tons of hermies, mutations and just overall bad breeding.

Chemdawg because it doesn't like michigan weather it tends to mold up very easy, original grand dad purple just because it seems the male ratio is very high like 1 out of 10, and these auto chem dawgs because they don't seem to yield much

If it hermie'd it was because of something you did, plant's don't just hermie for no reason, now I've grown barney farm almost exclusively in all my grows almost 90% of my plants are a barney farm strain, and I'm currently growing over 20 strains of barney farm, I've never had a single problem except for a mold problem with some liberty haze but that's because my humidity wasn't right..

When the only plants that herm in a multi-strain garden are from the same breeder then something is up. In general, though, I have had irregular growth, mutations, extremely sensitive plants very prone to pests, ph and nutrient deficiencies, etc. However, like I said, I do like a few of their strains very much and I'm happy that you have had success with them. I'm just stating my experience with their strains.
