Don't they grow these for the CBD VALUE now? I mean granted the high was a sick fuck like at the end of the bar talking as he rolls his own stogies, he's sticking around for a noob to talk with cus his wife is banging the mailman. But the CBD is often a body high associated with a medicated feel.Another SHIT one is Ruderalis Indica - RStar Auto - this one was grown by a buddy of mine , once I seen it I was floored - SHORT , one cola , big leafy , hairy mess . It had twice the water leaves , pistil heavy buds. Very " green" smell . At the end , the dry buds were thin. Medium frost. Minty smoke flavor. Crappy high , heavy feel.
This is a straight Ruderalis crossed indica. Nothing special .
I call it AUTO MEXICAN WEED .

I tried growing Tangerine Dream from Barneys and the strain came up like 90% sativa dominant (which was advertised as 70% indica) and grew like shit in a hydro setup. Tall stretchy, large distances between the nodes, thin whispy long leaves and "stalks" if you will call them that. Both plants were from seed and were pretty much the same. One was a bit more stretchy than the other, but very similar. I cut them down after I sent them into flower and saw no preflower when the rest of my room of Kosher Kush/LA Cheese/White Widow had buds forming. May do well outdoors....but I'll never know.

I'm not growing this strain, my buddy is but I provided the seeds from a hermie lemon kush (or so it said). Started off germination with like 12+ seeds. My buddy tells me they sprouted fast so he places them in small drinking cups and they sit in a windowsill for some time. He has grown before so I can't say he's got no experience here but the direct sunlight lacks a bit in the spring/winter. The plants veg but it takes them all summer to grow no more than 2 feet. a few die off due to being inside for so long... Other crap too. So at this point 6 plants are healthy enough to ride out the summer. This summer was FULL OF SUN, drought was involved but these guys were watered often. By the time fall hits, he tells me they have finally budded: middle of September! I mean shit, every day smelling these things stumped him. They grew so freaking slow. By Halloween they will be 'ready' and that's only because the plants are turning brown he says. I should count my blessings but jeez uspleezus, these plants have been growing since freaking March outdoors. All in all 6 plants with popcorn to nugget sized nugs. Some with purple. I know that's from the cold weather coming in. We're salvaging this as a whole but hopefully by next year end of summer, we'll have better plants. I'm using this forum as a guide for good plants, something that yields a good bundle and puts me flush for winter. Plus I'd like a plant that you can put one bud in a mason jar and fill it.

Iam am guilty this also in my past seed searching ways and if you dont have room you just dont. But germing just a few like 2 or 3 and getting losers shouldnt be written off. I cant believe some seed makers sell single seeds or 3 seed packs. They are either brave or have mucho confidence that thier seeds are really winners. From the crap ive germed from some companies and how fickle the growers are this could and would ruin a seed maker. But i still stand by what we went by in the olden days lol. From what few breeders were out there....if you didnt find a keeper in a 10 or 15 pack then we came down hard. Thats just unacceptable then and even moreso now. Someone just didnt hold up thier end of the deal (breeding, selection work) to charge alot of money on a 10 or 15 pack for a decent grower with normal common sense to end up with crap.

Alaskan ice by greenhouse seeds. Total mutants in 2 separate phenos,i got. With crazy long flowering time. Mine were 12-14 weeks. Yield was minimal and potency from the 2 phenols I had was average I guess nothing special, same for taste.

I've found you shouldn't really judge a strain based on one seed.

Very true. I germed 5 of the TD and only got 2. Both were about identical, but you know....I'd love to think it was the seeds and not me of course haha
Im still poking around a bit to see if I just got bunk genetics/1 time deal. Would love to still grow a nice orange citrus flower.
I agree with your above post on tangerine dream we got 3/4 way done with flowering and we shut the room down... it was purely junk I agree and I popped 25 seeds 6 did not germ and the rest was shit

The only strain I've grown so far that I would not grow again was White Fire OG. I had it in less than perfect conditions, but the other two girls growing along side it did way better. It had tons of very small larfy buds that never frosted up. Me and WiFi just didn't hit it off.

I got 3 of them, none of them popped. I was really wanting to grow some out too. WW was what I used to getAt least I got the regular WW from Dina.
yeah i've been eyeing Sin City, their stuff looks to be dank. I can't possibly use up all the beans I have now for a while, but it's hard resisting blue power.

my gigabud grew bananas, but i did get 1 and 1/4 pouind off 1 plant!
