The show is awesome whenever I get to catch it I'm sitting with a pen and paper in hand. It's great to have a consistent show with fresh topics, keep up the great job and the audience will continue to grow.

Episode 16 makes drool all over the place. HASH STASH! friggin looks insane.


If you can write during the Weed Nerd. youre missing out on a ton. Its like music, when you are obliterated high, you hear new things. sub has a bunch of hidden sounds that you can only hear when you are THIS(arm way above my head) high.

ok so i grew this girl for 103 days from seed an got 5 1/2 thts with pulling half off early!! i made 4 seperate harvest off this one plant the pic of it finishing is after cuting her 3 other times lol she started at 5' an now u can see two weeks after harvest shes filling bac in nicely from the re-vegg an my new set up since thers so many branches ima try to scrogg it or should i leave it go natraul again?????? an im using 10 cfl 6500k(3) 2700(7) which is 17200 lumens strong but my main consurn is yeild potency is great but do u think ill get a beter yeild scrogg??? jus thought id show u my pics an things i do + another way to keep genetics sir PS THE WEED NERD IS POSSIBLY THEE BEST THING OUT THERE FORSURE THANK U SUB FOR SHAREN UR GENIUS

The problem is that if you have held these genetics and created seed each year then "selection" has already started taking place and by now in the 8th generation if you have chosen wisely you should have something stable?

I've did the whole "squaring and cubing", but the problem I've found with this landrace is for one, the rarity of a true male. Most every male I've seen from this lineage will at least pop a few hairs somewhere. They may not be apparent on a large outdoor male, but if you look you will find them. That's one reason I want to outcross, along with creating something that has those genetics and will be more compatible with indoor growing. There are plenty of females from them that won't herm regardless of environmental stressors. The recessive herm trait" IMO", comes from the males i.e., inbreeding. If you can explain in layman's terms how I could go about stabilizing, I'd love to hear it.

sub ,you go dude, im a great fan of your's.Anyway i went to one of there outdoor concerts (BLACK OAK ARKANSAS) in BALD KNOB,ARKANSAS, IT'S A DRY COUNTY AS MANY IN ARKANSAS ARE ,anyways we camped out rasied hell and just had fun ,put on a hell of a show for outside. it was a weekend event if i can remember right,lol damn that was 80's i think i 51 now,im glad someone knows about them there outdoor events thanks sub OH THAT WAS STRAWBERRY JAM AT BALD KNOB ARKANSAS

hey sub, If a plant is a winner besides it likes to spit out a few (5-8 on a 4' wide 5' tall plant) Bananas is this worth keeping? I have not had any seeds forming yet anywhere.. should I be hacking this thing down or is it not that big of a deal?

I know that I am not Sub, but if I get a few nanners, and they are managable, I will just pick them off. This can be a deal breaker if I am already borderline about keeping a strain, but if the strain is chron, a few nanners isn't going to keep me from keeping it around.

Banana's at that late stage isn't gonna hurt and they very seldom self seed at that stage and if they do you'll have all female seed if a male has not been in the room. Besides Subcools great show I like the CCC of of Northern Cali on youtube. Here's a tribute vid to them that's pretty good.

What do you think of seed companies like stony girl gardens that threaten to sue people for passing out clones or breeding with their genetics or of copyrighting plants in general? And how about that pitbull when its not full of seeds...

Have you grown various c99's or just the orig. ? Is there a big difference?
